Winter Snow Game
« on: August 03, 2005, 09:17:20 PM »
i have a place in the white mountains and i was considering hosting a weekend op around mid december (xmas break for us students). it snows about two to three feet where my place is and it would make an awesome winter battle ground out in the surrounding forrest. nothing is set or for sure yet but who would be interested. the area is roughly four hours from tucson.

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

I can tell you for a fact you are going to have a severe problem knowing when you get hit, unless you get hit in the hand, the nose, or the ears.

Hearing a bb bounce off your gear, and snapping a freezing twig, and/or frozen ass frees sound alot alike. Might cause problems.

Just don't wear a jacket.....wont notice how cold it is once you start moving and the adrenaline kicks in, and last time I played BBs hitting warm trees and snapping dry twigs in the 100 degree weather does the same thing.  I'm in on this one.

I say, let us start planning this ish!

Sean, i notice you've been posting from your cabin (right...?).... so I suggest you scout some spots that we could use that wouldn't give us any conflict with anyone or thing.

So long as I can stay warm, I wouldn't have an issue.  But then, that's probably going to be my biggest issue is knowing if I was hit or not.  :(

Lets see how long you last in the SNOW(mind you, not just snow, becuase its gotta be a cold climate, so that means the air has to keep the snow frozen), without a jacket. Moving or not....your body ain't gunna like it too much. Not a wise idea. You can't NOT protect yourself from the elements, thats how shit happens. Its just asking for trouble.
