This thread reads like the Soft Air Depot intro version 2. I'm just glad I live 6 miles from an AEX.

You must be mistaken, AEX is an airsoft store...what business do you have at an airsoft store?

**** off.

I don't work for them either, but I have to back up the APD pimping.

I didnt know about APD at all when I first got into airsoft and started showing up here. Only found out about the store accidentally when someone here asked a G36 question. Most of what the OP said is true. It is one of two high end stores in town along with Soft Air Depot (which I only just found out about too) and I still prefer APD. Prices are equal or cheaper to online, JT has a slightly better range for pistols but as far as high end, low end, parts i.e systema, bdus and vests, they have it all, selection as well as price.

Actually I probably wouldnt have started off with a crappy BE AUG that I now really have no use for, even for upgrading if I'd known a local store that I could have gone to, just for quickly and easily comparing low end to high end. I've sent a few people to APD who wanted to check out CA stuff (especially G36's). Fell in love with the CA G36 externals minute I saw it and knew which direction I was going ;)

APD reps (well rep, that's my only complaint, not enough airsoft!) have been just as helpful and knowledgeable as our local JT guys have been. I made a post on our own airsoft forum about stores recently and I put APD at the top of the list too. Its the best store in town, if you havent been there and you're local, you really ought to :)

I just want to say APD has always come through for me with everything i have needed, even special order or hard to get parts. I have played with the APD guys for well over a year now and we have great games and good times. Not to mention the you get to see alot of cool gear roll out for the nite games like tracers, nite vision and some bada** smoke grenades, (always fun at nite). If you wanna know the scoop come and game with us once or twice, we always welcome new players irregardless or what store you pimp.  But, if you do come out to play watch out for the short little sh*t with the deadly P90, hes the reall a**hole!

Ouch... I don't like it when stores try to take advantage of you, because you are young. And they assume you don't know anything. And why wouldn't he sell it to you? Because you didn't want to pay full price?

I'd like to hear their side of the story.

First I want to say that what I noticed shortly after this youngman entered APD is that it seemed like he did not have a very positive attitude. He even told one of the employees in what seemed to a very disrespectful tone, that the only reason he was buying this gun here is because we were the only store in AZ that had one.  He was told on the phone before he came in that we had one left. As for misrepresenting products, we absolutely did not. We took it of the wall right in front of him.  I really dont feel like taking too much time to explain why pilz is wrong in most points in his post.  Matt is a knowledgable airsoft technician and has many loyal customers that come only to him for all thier airsoft service because they know he does a great job and in all cases gets the job done within 1 or 2 days.  In many cases he fixes their guns right on the spot. None of them seem to complain about him, and keep coming back.  APD is a very busy store on saturdays. I have been working all day and am going to go to sleep now.

Bottom line for those of you that dont want to read the paragraph above.

This young man is distorting the actual facts in this case. He is trying to make himself look like a victim in order to trash on APD.

He is upset becase he did not go home with a CQB.

We told him we would not sell it to him because we had determined the  gun was obviously not in working condition at that time.

He was told that we are getting more CQB's in a shipment next week.

He was upset cause he wanted one RIGHT NOW.

The only person that said anything about him while he was leaving, was another customer I was was helping at the same time who said, and I qoute "That little psycho needs to take a chill pill."  This person was not encouraged to say this and had been observing this whole fiasco.

I certify that everything in this post is the honest to god truth.  We no bad intentions towards him, and we hope that he finds a CQB and has many hours of fun with it.

I am managment and what I did during this was refuse to take accept his foul attitude.

He in actuallity he was very rude to myself and Matt.

Thank you for listening,

Jon from APD

Plus, everybody knows that a 12v battery in a CA CQB is extremely dumb, and any stock gun because stock wiring can't handle it.  And taking apart a gun when someone wants to buy it.
