New gas blowback gun owner any tips?

ok so i got my first gas blowback gun yesterday, a sig p226 by kjw, so my question to you guys is any tips on gas guns? ive never had a gas gun before and id like to know things such as maintenance and troubleshooting, anything would be great thanks guys

keep it lubed and don't use lube with i believe petrolium products in it, silicon only either airsoft lube or radio control car shock oil will work prob 30 weight shock oil. and shock oil is generaly cheaper then airsoft lube.

True Value sells pure silicon spray which i find works perfect. And also I put a bit of lithium grease on the slide rails, which keeps the wear to a minimum.

If you want to keep it working, keep it clean.  Given the climate, its also a worthwhile investment to head down to harbor freight (or any DIY store) and pick up an assortment of O-rings.  Usually thats the first thing to go, and the easiest to fix.
