ACA was actually started by David, a former member of Rainbow who left when he found out that he had been lied to for many years by Todd Ferguson ({fake}"Ranger"). Rainbow team is not involved in the ACA, they've tried hard to disassociate from the "Ranger" fiasco.
ACA is more of a speed ball type of airsoft. It's simply a totally different type of play from milsim. Some people like it. I'd say it ACA is like sprinting hurdles, compared to running a marathon. It's fast, looks good on film but requires less discipline. It's for some people if that's what they want.

But I saw it was twenty bucks so probably just once a week.Don't think you'll have a problem there. If we did host night games it'll probably only be once a week. We're thinking about Friday.

I've not been to a TAC game yet and when I was reading the rules, and I came across this one:

I just bought an M4 off here the other day to use as a loaner gun for noobs for $40. I know, screaming deal... 
Last night my car was broken into with it and other valuables in the trunk, and it all got stolen 
. So I'm looking to replace it.
Looking to get pretty much any AEG, preferably an M4 variant. Want to spend around $50. If it doesn't work completely, no problem. I don't mind having to repair it as long as I can get it for cheap. So clean out the back of your closets and find that old AEG that you never use, dust it off, and offer up! Thanks for your consideration!
