Definitely not true.  The non-bio ones will take longer than 10 years.
If you take the stance that "everything" is biodegradeable, then it's even arguable that steel is biodegradeable if you give it enough time...

Anyway, back on topic...  if they do hold Op:CD2, I REALLY hope that they learned a thing or two from the last one they did.

Combat Enterprises did... it was called Operation "Minor Threat" (insert laugh)  I haven't heard anything about how it went.

There is no amount of persuasion that could get me back to a CD/DD event.  Definitely the worst game I have ever attended.

Crimson  Dunes II looks cool. I'm going to register now as a sniper. How many Arizona airsoft members know that they are going?

I also have a question. They only allow .02g BB's, even if you are using a bolt action rifle? if so, that sucks.

Don't let the flashy site fool you.  The last Crimson Dunes event was poorly organized.  The event organizer did a bad job of dealing with and even acknowledging the problems that arose.

sounds sucky. maybe AA should organize a big game like that! (Even for Non-AA people) I know it would be better!

Thanks for the info guys. I can see what you are saying. I could also see it being hard to manage the first CD I game becuase it was so big. I don't know if I will go or not. Just because one I have never been and two they might have their stuff together this time.

That's no exscuse for Combat Enterprises.  If that was their first "big game" then it MAY enter into it, but they have done a LOT of big games before Op:CD.  He's just a poor organizer, leader and host.  I wouldn't go to Op:CD2 even if it were free - but that's just me.

Guys-
From those of you who have large OP experience, were all of the CE games you went to that bad? What OPs would you consider to be quality? These games are huge, and the idea is wonderful; but you're right, if these games are poorly organized, it's a waste of money and time. Our team is in Tucson, and we would love to attend an OP that is realistic and worthwhile. We have to travel, so we've been planning on CDII as our first out-of-state game. We don't want to plan for it if it sucks.  What big games do you recommend? We would like to show up to these together to represent AA. Maybe we will just go to the AA game in Aug. instead. ???

I don't think any of us can say for sure how CD2 will be - we are basing our conclusions on the only other "Dave Dollarhide/Combat Enterprises" we have been to:  Op: CD - and all of us who went to it from AZ are in agreement that it sucked.  OSG3 was great (the year before) and had almost as many people.  From what I have heard, LC2 was also great (and just as many people).  The thing that made Op:CD so bad was that the organizer (Dave) knew about some things going on (mostly rampant, obvious cheating) and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to address it.  His reply to me when I asked about it:  "I can't make people not cheat.  If you have a specific name, let me know, otherwise, sorry..."  Not what you want to hear from an "organizer" when you pay $100+ to enter the event and drive 12+ hours.
