AEG's / DMR to cqb or other suggestions?
« on: May 04, 2013, 10:58:43 PM »
Hey everyone. I have a TM M4 that i have put alot of money into for outdoor play in washington. The problem that i'm running into with now is that i'm hitting to hard at 430fps with .2g bbs. I need some help on toning down the fps to 400 and was wondering what i can do for cqb. Is there any way that i could do a partial build and do a swap that would switch out the gearbox and barrel, or something like it to get to 350 fps. Any suggestions would help alot. If all fails i'll probably end up getting a cqb gun like an mp5 so what are some quality/high end mp5's. Basicly in the end i either want a 400 fps rifle that can switch out to a 350 fps cqb rifle, or a 400fps rifle and a 350 fps mp5. Thanks for the help!

Real Firearms / Unique story and help
« on: March 24, 2013, 09:16:37 PM »
So i wanted a rifle and ended up a friend of mine was selling his so i checked it out and thought it was decent. I was told it shoots great but he didn't know what brand it was so i gave him $100 and called it good. Then about a week ago i went shooting and the thing wouldn't cycle right because the safety had to be turned on to pull the bolt back all the way and then off to fire it so we stopped shooting it incase something else was wrong. So we went home after shooting and i started taking stuff apart. I wanted to check out the scope because the few times i did fire it i couldn't adjust the crosshairs. So i took off the mount and scope and handed the rifle to my dad. He then said "Oh Shit, Damon this is a Remington!" I then started looking at it and realized it was an 03a3. I then did some research and found out what i was turning on and off was the magazine itself because in wwII, you would throw 1 round at a time until you needed to shoot them faster and that the safety was on the bolt. So i thought it was a cool story and the fact i only paid $100 for a magnificent rifle! Anyways i was wondering where i can get a rear sight for the rifle. When i bought it the scope and mount were on it and i didn't get a rear sight so any help would be great. Thanks!

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Echo 1 p90

I have an echo 1 p90 that shoots beautifully. I had some issues with it but the only problem was that there was a bb stuck in the gearbox. I removed the bb, re-greased the entire gearbox, put in a new bucking and o-ring, and corrected the AOE. It comes with 2 midcaps, a box mag, gemtech barrel extension, m4 inner barrel which is not currently in it but used to be, and an 8.4v battery. I'm asking $220 for all of it. To contact me text/call me at 425-328-4955 or email me at stale_kracker@hotmail.com for any information and a picture if you want.

What kind of grease should I use? Would lithium be okay? Also I was looking at buckings and wasn't sure what the degrees meant.

I will re-grease the parts and replace the bucking but I am just shocked that out of all the things possible it was a bb. I dont understand how it could even get in there, this was the first time I have disassembled this gun. Just doesn't make sense lol.

I decided to save myself some money and took the gun apart. When I did this I found this!

I'm not sure if the image was posted as I'm writing this but if it didn't i found a bb inside the gearbox in the shell on the bottom right corner by the air nozzle. Do you guys think this could be the issue?

I used this gun very little, took it to one game and my friend came with. He gave me an m4 of his for some money, then I put the p90 in my gun bag and took it home. I probably only put 600-1000 bbs through it. The o-ring makes sense and it looks like I'm going to have to do some rooting in the gearbox. My only problem with that is I hate the plastic echo p90 body. The way the gearbox is bolted in is nearly broken so I might have a tech work on it so I don't screw things up more then they are. Do you know of a reliable tech that could help me out? Thanks for the help everyone!

Troubleshooting / Major echo 1 p90 issues
« on: November 07, 2012, 10:38:00 PM »
Hey guys I'm having a hell of a time figuring out what is wrong with my p90. I bought this thing brand new used it in 1 game then my friend gave me an m4 and I put the p90 on the shelf for a year and a half. Now I go to sell my p90 (which had no problems prior to putting in on the shelf) and test fire it and the gun shoots no more then 10 ft. before hitting the ground. I have no idea why this is happening. I was looking at the bucking and it's pretty hammered but I wasn't sure if that could be it, also I noticed that when the hop-up connects to the air nozzle it doesn't connect smoothly and occasionally needs to be forced on (but i don't force it on). I had an M4 inner barrel in it then put the stock p90 barrel in it and nothing changed. I'm just stuck. I want to get the gun in a decent condition to sell but I'm thinking that it is nearly impossible thanks for any help.
