Xbox 360 HELP

Any help me with a 360 issue

Xbox has issues playing games, it will read them start them play for awhile, but will randomly freeze.
Sometimes I can hit the "X" button and go HOME or it completely freezes and needs to be powered off. Help

It will play DVDs and CDs just fine!

Cpu is probably getting hot. Try blowing it out with compressed  air

I did. It freezes with in less then 5mins of starting a game or wont read games, but runs fine with dvd, cd and just running the system normally, over heating that quick

If you have it under warranty then send it to Microsoft before messing with it and they will fix it. If it's not under warranty then it sounds like it's one of the two things ThatGuy stated. If you can't figure it out I would call Microsoft and explain your problem and I'm sure they would be more than willing to help. When something was wrong with my Xbox it wasn't covered under warranty anymore and I called Microsoft and explained my situation and they took care of it for free excluding the cost of shipping it to them.

 I had a problem like this and I had to install the games I played into the system and it seemed to help a lot, this might work for you to.
