So the film is finally ready to go and will be shown at the Loft theatre this Thurs. (16th) from 6 pm - 8pm. The Loft is located on Speedway between Alvernon and Country Club on the north side of the road. Here's a map: http://www.google.com/maps?li=lmd&hl=en ... n&ie=UTF-8 (http://www.google.com/maps?li=lmd&hl=en&q=the+loft+loc:+Tucson,+AZ&num=10&cid=32221667,-110925833,2908939525465887763&radius=0.000000&hl=en&ie=UTF-8)
Anyhow, the invitation is open to all who are interested. We're charging $3 a person to help cover the costs of renting the theater. Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to log on and answer them.

I have windows media player 9 and I am UNABLE to run the Vietnam WMV from the link. I even downlaoaded and saved it, and it still would not play.
Would love to drive down to ToooSoohn to see it, but would like to look at the preview first.
How long is the theatre movie?
Thanks

Huh, don't know why it won't play on your computer. Can anyone help him?
As for running time, it is 67 minutes long. We'll be doing a brief (like 5 min.) intro and then taking about 15-20 min. afterwords for a Q&A session.

Your computer sucks get a new one. You most likely don't have the right codec...whats the compression codec used? It is most likely DIVX or XVID...
both:(and then some)

If you do have the right codec installed, you may want to remove and reinstall it as it could be corrupted/damaged. :)

I would definately be interested in buying a copy.

Yeah, get it out in Pheonix.

Yeah, I'd love a copy if I couldn't make it to the theater.
-
Or both will you sell disks at the Theater if so I can pick some up for other people

I will definetly be coming to see this with my wife tomorrow, I also contacted my team to let them know so hopefully I've got a good number of people coming.
As for the DVD this would be really cool if you guys could get one together, though I'd hate to rush you guys on it, since this is a local thing it would be neat to include things like a making of to go with it as well as bloopers. I'd be willing to pay a decent amount if it had extras.

Cost of the DVD will be $10. Why you ask? Well, basically to cover our costs. We owe alot of people who helped out free copies. We're totally non-profit and we've already put a good deal of time and personal monies into it, so we're just trying to not incur any more costs.
The DVD will NOT be ready for pickup as we want to add "extra features" beforehand, so give us a couple of weeks. Remember, this thing was put together by a bunch of 18-19 yr. olds in-between school, work, sports, etc.
Still, I think you'll be pleased with the result. The great thing is the fact that everything - story, music, editing, visual and special effects, etc. are all ours.
Finally, this will be the only public showing that we know of on this side of the US. The vet who's helped us extensively will be taking it to Washington with him next month, so it'll be showing along some other similar projects. Anyhow, hope to see you there.

Soooo . . . sorry for the sound situation, guys, but thanks for those that showed up. The DVD sounds great on a home theater - pretty sure the problem lays with the Loft speakers (and the fact that they don't even have a sound board to adjust stuff - oh well). Hope you enjoyed it anyways.
