Vell had mentioned that the Airforce was coming out with a new BDU set.  He thought it was supposed to be in the MARPAT design, but that looks more like urban tiger stripes to me.

I like 'em too.  I wonder if they're still gonna wear the stripes on their sleeve, though. That pic is inconclusive...But I imagine they still will. Pretty soon, regular woodland will be obsolete!

Hell, who fights in the jungles or woods any more, other than rebels in central and south america.  It's been pretty much desert or urban fighting for some years now.  Guess we'll have to add another BDU to our collections.  I've got almost as much money tied up in BDU's as I do my M4.

I think there is both blue and green (w/ some grey) in there.

Maybe Ed's color blind... Heck in that case we can dress him up in PINK BDU's and tell him they're green and he'll never know the difference.

Looks to me like they are all blue, gray and white with a couple shades of blue and a couple shades of gray (including one that *almost* looks greenish).

I think its more likely that since their testing them, they didn't have time to get the stripes sewn on before the picture shoot.  Otherwise they're all basic Airmen judging from these pictures.  I know when I was stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, when ever they were doing uniform testing they didn't bother to sew on the stripes or use the collar stripes either.
