Rainbow Six 3 for PS2?

I seem to have gotten stuck. I'm in the PentHouse level, where you only get a pistol, and if you're seen or heard, you lose. I can't seem to get anywhere (literally, I'm usually dead within 30 seconds to a minute of the level starting).

If I try to sneak past the guys in the living room and kitchen, I'm seen. But if I wait for people to move around, a guy either comes down the stairs and sees me, or a guy just inside the penthouse sees me. I can't gas them either, even though I've got gas grenades and the mask to do so.

Anyone have any pointers they can provide? I've gotten this far, but I can't get any farther and it's killing me. Thanks!

i'd help you, but i took the game back after 2 days of playing it.  it just wasnt quite up to par with my expectations for it (the first one), so yea, didnt quite get there.

IS it a great game? I can rent it and play.. and is it two player, and maybe four player? Cause if so.. I'd get it.

i say its crap.  online sucks.  it just sucks overall.  if you want a good mil. game, go with SOCOM, hands down.  its third person... but its an amazing game.  i still break it out every once in a while, and i played it religiously for almost 1 year (released Nov. 3 2003).  check it out if you haven't already.  and HAVE A MIC.

Kidding.

Socom (one and two) are the best games I've ever played... online. MGS series comes first though. Anyone that played MGS games will love Socom, BECAUSE of the 3rd view. And if you don't like that view, theres two others. It's such a great game. I was a good player, too. But, my online sucks bad now. It'll lag like crazy, so I can't play it. <<Heartbroken.

It's alright. I got it pretty cheap at Warehouse. I also agree that there are much better FPS games out there, I just want to finish this one 'cause it's bugging me!
