Camelback bite valves
« on: March 25, 2005, 12:02:08 PM »
OK, I thought it would be really easy to find a bite valve with an integrated "on/off" switch that wasn't blue or some other bright color (yes, I am picky), but, after two hours of searching, I'm apparently wrong! Anyone know where I can get a bite valve with the above features - black, OD, or tan in color? Thanks.

Hmmm. . . doesn't look like they have what I need. Thanks though. On another note anyone use one of these filters http://www.botac.com/cainmifi.html? Looks great for camping and such where you don't want to carry all of your water.

Serch google under hydrolink conversion kit with hydrolock and you can get any number of places that sell the kit for around $8. This was what I came up with:
http://www.tadgear.com/x-treme%20gear/p ... on_kit.htm from tad gear.
or http://www.optactical.com/caac.html for $10
just gotta serch for the right thing I hope this helps! if not then pick one up at arizonal tactical or find a mil camelbak dealer in tuscon.

Delta, they've got some of the bite valves at Miller's or have you already tried there? I've looked a Popular, Sports Authority, Summit Hutt, etc, and they've only got blue. Last time I checked they had 'em at Miller's though.

Thanks all. I think thats just what I need! Hawk, I haven't been to miller's in awhile, but last time I was there, their bite valves were without the switch (unless you wanted to buy a whole new bladder).
