Here's the field use review:

Used the flashbangs (as grenades) and the baseball grenades.

I got a few kills with them, they are (as Delta pointed out) difficult to arm, and I did bring a pair of needle nose pliers to use (Mikey has a technique for loading them by hand... patent pending).

I was able to throw them at least 20yrds, I have girlie arms BUT Greg was able to toss one approximately 35yrd... (Greg correct me if I'm wrong).

Pro's:  Its cool that they go 'Bang'
Cons: Break easy (I cracked one off a fence post)
: Difficult to find (Mikey mentioned about painting them orange)
: Sometimes they go off when you pull the pin and kill you right before you are going to throw it into a building killing everybody inside winning the day... but instead it goes pop in your hand and people laugh at you as you leave the field :(

I would recommend the rubber grenades.  I've got a chirp circuit made (for locating the grenade), so once I get some I'll test it out.

Apparently:

"ASMOAIRSOFT.COM IS SHUTTING DOWN.  THIS CLOSURE WILL TAKE EFFECT ON JUNE 10th, 2005. Thank you for a good run of it.

-Asmo"

From their website.  It looks like we'll have to get Delta to make us a nice schematic of the mechanism so we can replicate the design. Delta you interested?

Well, I would, but I'm pretty busy putting final touches on the film and getting ready for the academy which I leave for in less than a month (read: alot of exercising and paperwork). Anyone else up to the job? Its a pretty simple mechanism and I know a few guys besides me have them.

Parts:

Shell:
Miracle Bubbles bottle Shell
Firing Mechanism:
Possibly a small mousetrap?
Small Piece of Sheetwood
Screw to hold wood to Moustrap
Screw with a nut to hold it to the shell
Weight:
Small weight to fit in the bottom 1-1 1/2" diameter depending on the size of your buble container.
Pin:
Not sure what the one on this is but a small piece of melted to a normal keychain would probably work.

And the only tool you would need is a dremel drill to make the holes in the side and the top for the pin.
