« on: June 21, 2005, 10:25:57 PM »
Yes, well im getting rid of my MP5. And was wondering if the CA m15a4 Tactical Carbine had a removable carry handle. Thanks in advance for the help also please post comments if you have had any problems with the gun or if you would recommend not getting it and also suggestions on any other m16 varients.

I can't say anything about CA but I have an ICS and it works really well. Good accuracy!

Sorry, Ethan I didn't realize which Carbine you were talking about, the new Tactical m15A2 Carbine does NOT have a removable handle. The A4 series does however.

The new CQBR doesn't even have a carry handle. I think this little "issue" was resolved already, too.

I just bought one less than a month ago from Jungletoy, mine has a removable carry handle.

It looks exactly like this:

This is the "Tactical carbine" with a solid stock (Tho my box says "tactical carbine" on it, go figure):

Both have removable handles. (Pics are straight frm the classic army website.)

Oh, how I love the f*cked up airsoft/civvie firearm terms.

Tactical carbine, M16, M15, Special Purpose Carbine, A3, A4, blah, blah!

You really gotta be careful when buying a replica firearm that is modeled after a civilian variant, like these Armalites.

Uncle Sam makes it easy for me!  All M4A1's are full auto and have a 14.5 inch barrel with flattop upper.  All M16A2s have a 20-inch barrel with fixed carry handle.  I LOVE IT!

If you like to lug around a heavy guns its great (i do so it ok) the only problem is some time you have to change the bucking because of a double feed problem and it is a bit loud. I would recomend the s-system from marui it feels great shoot great has the eg 1000 motor and looks friggin cool.
