Further, places like fightertown and vanguard either own or lease the land that they are conducting business and have a business license which allows them to charge money to have airsofters use there facilities. If they were doing it for free they wouldn't even require a business license. I would be suprised to hear that anyone at AA has a signed and notarized letter on file from either fighter town or vanguard which verifies their identity and the fact that they have given permission for airsofters to use their facilities. If AA wants to require that any event listed on their forum is at an approved location I think that the definition of what constitutes approved should apply to all locations.

Did operation Green Horn occur on private or public land?
Was there written notarized agreement for the use of that land?

He does not own the land in question he owns the land around it. The permission needs to be from FEMCON.

Greenhorn was in Cocainno forest and approved via Forest service. At which one of our team members works for the Forest service.. NOT private land.

He seems quite sure he owns the land. He said the land adjacent that many people drive thru is owned by someone else and has specific suggestions regrading which entrance which is his land to use to get to the field but the area that is already setup with obstacles and shooting blinds he states is his. Not sure how to resolve this issue. Any suggestions

As for Op Greenhorn I'm sure you had written permit from forest dept (?) but surely wasn't notarized.

The land in question was posted by us on numerious accounts and shows it's owned by FEMCON... Unless it comes from that company it's not owned by said party...

That's why this gentleman who says he owns the area just recently put fences up closing off his land. FUJI IS NOT OWNED BY HIM.

Playing on on approved, public land is alot different than playing on private land.

for one, as a general rule if its ok to shoot on, then its ok to airsoft on. Therefore there is no need to have written permission, and the cops arent going to care if we are all running around with mock weapons.

However, if it is private land, in the middle of a large city[fuji] then it becomes a much larger problem and therefore requires more documentation. This is where having notarized permission comes into play, it not only keeps your butt from getting in trouble, but it helps us keep airsoft in a good light in the eyes of leos and the public.

As said eariler, a member of team phantom works for the forest service, and knows where you can and cannot play airsoft.

This is way to much discussion for a field that is to small to do anything with

If some one is able to show proof  that its ok to play on the parcel  of land in question then get it

If not I'm tired of hearing about it!

THANKS! Finally Xavier mace can stop being a poop.

I'll stop being a "poop" once you guys stop being dumbasses.

This is getting ridiculous.  I've clearly posted, multiple times, what's required to get a field added to the list.  If you guys don't like it, find somewhere else to organize your games.  It's that simple.  I'm quite tired of getting bombarded with PM's and emails because you guys can't fucking read.  If you want the field added and you want to be able to post the game on here, you need written proof that you are allowed to be there.

Fightertown/Vanguard are registered businesses who own/lease/rent their land.  If the police show up there and say you can't airsoft there, it's their issue, not the communities.  The land owner is running a business, they are responsible.  Greenhorn (and similar events) were on public, park land.  Therefore no permission is necessary other than a recreational permit depending on the situation which Phantom has when necessary.  In both cases there's written documentation saying you are allowed to be there.  There's zero documentation saying you are allowed to be at Fuji Field (airsofting or otherwise) therefore it's a no go field.

I don't know how much clearer I can make this.
