GBB Repair? Perhaps?
« on: August 16, 2002, 08:13:11 PM »
"If I had the funds and connections to do so, I'd LOVE to do gas guns. I'm great with 'em (I've taken my SVI completly apart, save for maybe three or four screws. If I recall correctly, it's got somewhere in the neighborhood of 87-90 parts. It was fun!). I can take themapart, clean them, maintain them, and fix some problems. I just wouldn't knowwhere to get parts from. And I'm not sure how many people would trust a16 year old with their prized possession (be it broken/dirty or not). But I'd LOVE to do it. Bring in a little money while getting to do the "play" version of what I'd like to do for a profession (sort of. Fixing guns isn't quite Forensic Science in Firearms and toolmarks, but I can get some hands on experience, kind of ).

I mean, hey, if anyone has a gas gun they'd like cleaned or something (I'm talking either a regular cleaning (because you may not know how to or whatever) or a detailed cleaning), let me know. I'd be willing to do it if anyone really needed it. You'd have to pay for shipping, and I probably wouldn't charge more than $15-20 for adetailed cleaning. Again, my age is an "issue" with most people, but if anyone really needs it, drop me a line. I'd love to help you out.

I've got experience on WA's 1911 line, KSC's Glock and M9 line, and TM/KJW's M9 line. I've owned all of them for a period of time, at least long enough to take them apart and put them back together, while the 1911, Glocks, and KSC M9's I had long enough to study out.
Contact me if you're interested.

NOTE: This was originally posted in the AEG repair post Harley made. However, after a little bit of thought, I decided GBB didn't belong in the same thread as AEG. I am no professional at this stuff, but I am pretty good. All of my guns still work (unless they need parts, like my ICS MP5, but that's an AEG). I'd love to do some of this stuff to get to know you all better and maybe get some money for BB's and gas so I can go out and play at non-AA games, as I am not sponsored. Thanks, guys.

A propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane
used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can
actually watch the pilot start sweating.
