CO2 MP7
« on: December 16, 2012, 10:19:45 AM »
my squad might get a H&K MP7. this gun looks incredibly nice, however most of our gas guns are CO2. I'm not saying green gas/propane is bad, but for the sake of convenience we're trying to keep everything CO2, so does anyone know if the make either:
A) a Co2 MP7 all in all
or B) CO2 magazines we can get that work in the green gas model?

Never seen any co2 variants. I know the mp7 is in a for of Aeg(aep) and Gbb. You could possibly modify the mag to take co2 like how Gbb mags are tapped into to be converted to hpa tank but I may be wrong and even if you could do that why do it? It's an mp7 lol.

Sorry if I wasn't much help but that is my little bit of info on the subject.

no, it was helpful. and to answer your question of why we do it, we do it because we have just about no green gas guns so it's nice to be able to just throw someone a co2 cartridge mid combat if they run out

Actually co2 is much more under pressure if I do recall, so don't do that unless its made for high pressure gas. For example, the madbull pb4 grenade can only take co2 gas or highly compressed air and will not work with green gas/propane.

The seals will blow if you use co2 on mp7 mags. There is only green gas mags  unless one was made in the last few weeks or so . Also why co2 the stock mp7's all ready shoot hot?

He already said why he wants to use CO2.

Green Gas/Propane = ~200 psi under normal temps
CO2 = ~800 psi under normal temps

Don't use it unless it's made for it.
Short answer is no, I have never seen a CO2 mag for MP7.
