I guess you haven't looked on the for sale thread. Vestas is selling a classic army m14 with extra mags. But its not a GBBR in which you will be paying almost $500.00 for it since a new one is $750.00. Then you need to put more money into it to make it a DMR. For that cash I would get a polar star and drop it in a body. But that's just my 2 cents.

They're still on sale at Airsplat.  If you dont trust them, try sites like WGCshop or Ehobbyasia.

Honestly, I wouldn't go for either the m14 or ebr in GBB. Magazines hold 20 BBs, are expensive as all get out, and require a good bit of time to reload. Try out a JG M14 (cheap used) amid see if you even like the set up. The safety is in a good location, but reloading takes practice and switching from semi to full auto takes the shooting hand off the grip. Not exactly the most user friendly set up.

Btw, rails are overrated. Try shooting iron sights for a bit. It does wonders in CQB.

If you are using an M14 EBR in CQB you are doing something horribly wrong.

Nope. Just saying iron sights are pretty damn good in that situation. :D
