Local Games Listing/RSVP /
« on: January 15, 2008, 06:58:29 AM »
I have received a few questions about the Saturday missions.  Players do not have to attend the games or camp out on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The events on Saturday are designed to give players a chance to get to know some of their team mates, field layout, and have an extra day of fun.

Currently, there are about 12 to 15 players who will be camping out and playing at the games on Saturday.  The event will start at about 2 pm and last until about 10 pm on the 26th.

Don't forget that early registration ($40) closes on Jan. 20th.  After the 20th, registration for the game will be $60 per player.

As for the location, 383rd Avenue may seem far.  However, since the trip is almost all highway driving,it is only 1 hour (55 miles) outside of Phoenix.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Local Games Listing/RSVP / Event Update
« on: January 09, 2008, 03:47:39 PM »
Thanks for your question about spectators at the event.  We do authorize spectators in certain areas of the event that don't interfere with the action.

If you are interested in coming out to spectate, please send me a private message to coordinate your visit.  Directions to the event will only be provided to registered guests and players.

The current player totals have been updated on the post above (just short of 30 players.)  With a couple more weeks left before the event, OP: West Wing should have at least 50 players.  There are 75 spaces open for the event.

In other event news, Never Quit Industries will be providing OP: West Wing players with a free sample of ASAP meal replacement at the game.  For those who would like to purchase boxes of 20 packages, they will be available for $40 per box.  These normally retail for $60 per box.

Visit www.nqinutrition.com for more info about ASAP meal replacements.  They are great for all types of tactical, outdoor, and emergency situations.

July 9 Operation Iraqi Freedom at Southwest Paintball (9 am– 2 pm)
Southwest Paintball has become the stage for Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Join us all summer long as Marauders Airsoft hosts games based on battles taking place in Ramadi Iraq.  Join the US and Iraqi forces (desert camouflage) in combat against Insurgents (woodland and civilian clothing) in a game that spans all of the combat fields.

Players must bring sealed protective eye wear.  Full masks are available with admission.

There will NOT be an airsoft swap meet at the game on July 9th.

About Southwest Paintball
This is a great location for airsoft as it has seven fields featuring an old town, a castle, ship, and a giant field with towers and trenches. Minors are welcome to play at Southwest with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.  Take the opportunity to visit SoftAir Depot and get more information about the game.  There is a field fee of only $20 per player.  Visit www.southwestpaintball.com for directions and pictures of the field

There is a carpool ($5) available for the game on July 9.  The carpool will leave from SoftAir Depot at 7:00 am and return at 4:30 PM.
