New to the Area of Arizona
« on: August 01, 2012, 05:20:37 PM »
Hello Gents and Gentails. My name is Zac, I'm 31 years of age and I'm from California. I spent 4 years in the United States Army as a 19D30, Cavalry Scout, Sniper for 1st Infantry Brigade, 2nd Battalion 34th Ar Regiment, HHC Company, Scout Platoon, Call Sign Sabre0S (Sabre Zero Sierra). Sabre meaning Scout platoon, 0 meaning Truck 0, Sierra meaning Sniper.

I have only been in Arizona since June, my fiance was born and raised here, I don't really know anyone here so someone with a decent knowledge in layout and anything of that matter would be appreciated, I'm in the process of trying to find some Topo maps of areas so I can get used to the land.

Also looking to find a platoon to possibly join, preferably one with other Military Veterans, or mature like minded people.
Right now I'm running a completely modified Echo1 ASR, upgraded bolt/spring/6.01 TB Barrel with a rare customized waxed barrel
I also have a WE Open Bolt GBB M4, a modified/custom JG G36K with an integrated top rail and full metal fron RIS, and an M9 Baretta/M190 semi/full auto pistol as a secondary.
Looking for a light weight desert Ghillie Suit. Right now I have plenty, however, used in Iraq, and a couple in the States, so they're fairly heavy and not meant for the heat out here.

Look me up!
In the Avondale area

My fiance was born and raised here, and knows exactly where it is (Speedworld)
Much appreciated Gents.
I'm not ready for Skirms quite yet. I don't know the regs here, they're quite a bit different in Cali and Washington.
(From Cali, lived 2 years in Washington)
Fiance and I just moved back here in June.
I still need a few things yet, I sold a bunch of my stuff 2 years ago for the move to Washington because I was short, then again after I lost my last job when I re-uped my gear in WA.

Right on, I need to find someone with a Chrono as well, I "heard" the FPS is lower here as well. I need to find out if I need to purchase weaker springs, or a reg on my GBB
That was another reason I wanted a QCB weapon system.

Thank you for giving me a reason to.
Just so people know, I didn't do my service for reasons of most. I served to keep my soldiers alive. Whatever I could do in my power to keep more mother's, wives, father's and kids from seeing the Chaplain or MP's. I've done several honor burials, and I hated it.

Most of our fields in the valley are more or less flat, no more than ten or fifteen feet of total elevation changes. For those outside the valley, like Sasco, you can check the US Geological Survey site. I know they have a topo map for the Sasco area, I used it for the last STALKER game.

Sweet, thanks (I'll pretend before I jump on google maps where the Sasco area is)
In West Valley now, hoping once I can land a job and I get my next University Stipend (Late August) to save so we can move northern
