Right around the corner from work.  I may stop by and watch for a minute before I drive home.

I ended up with a Echo-1 M4 Version 3.

Thanks for the help, all!

I'm backing up the guys at Gearbox.  Since I'm a newcomer to airsoft, I've been educated and instructed in the various aspects of the sport.  They helped me check over my Echo 1 M4 (yes I'm excited about my first gun) and made sure everything was firing nicely.

Gearbox comes highly recommended!

Sounds like a blast, but it bleeds into Sunday.  A no-go for me.

I'm keeping Marauders in my sights though. [smilie=armata_pdt_01.gif]

I would rather have an Echo 1 M4 or a Classic Army Sportline M4 for the same money.

Hmm.  Interesting.  The Sportline was my second choice after I toyed around with it at Gearbox this week...

Anyone have any experience/opinions about the Aftermath Broxa?

I've been looking at a relatively inexpensive, but decent quality entry-level gun and am leaning towards this one.  It appears to have a good RoF, decent J, uses 0.2 pellets and is upgradeable.  The only con I seem to see is accuracy, but I suppose that could be fixed with a tight-bore barrel.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I've got no clue why it sent an eCheck; but from this point on, I'm only going to use paypal to GET money.  My bank balance is -$256, and I'm expecting to pay $35 to $70 in overdraft fees, once the $330 I had in paypal gets into the bank.

Lesson learned, I suppose.

I'm guessing Wells Fargo.  I've gotten frustrated with them on more than one occasion.

I believe that is just a "total paid" notification and not an email advising how much will be pulled from your bank account.  Whatever gets pulled from your Bank account will only show up in your PayPal history instead.

We always go up just east of Forest Lakes, between Payson and Heber on the Mogollon Rim.  There's a fire road (I think the Forest Service Road or Nelson Fire Road...) we take that's got plenty of good spots to pick.  It's undeveloped (no bathroom, no shower, no water) so there is no fee.

Introduce Yourself! / New Guy

Greetings, all!  I stumbled across AirsoftArizona a little bit ago and thought I would join up.  I'm definitely and airsoft beginner, however I have had previous paintball experience.  I'm mostly new to the airsoft arena.  No military experience here, but definitely have had myself surrounded by it most of my life.  I'm an avid military supporter with a father who was enlisted in the Air Force during Vietnam (Bat-Two MB, RC-130, Sneaky Pete, Chinese Intel for you enthusiasts :) ).  My father in law is a retired Air Force Colonel.  Both sets of grandparents were on the ground in Europe in WW2 and I have numerous friends who have served in the Navy and Marines.

My wife got me a cheapo Wal-Mart special that I am in the process of painting to get rid of the hideous orange/clear plastic look.  I'll likely be picking something up soon that doesn't require me to cock after every shot...

Anyways, thought I'd say hi before I jump in on the conversation.
