I was reading a copy of Advanced Weapons today and an article said that the US Army was going to buy over 40,000 suppressors for their 5.56 weapons.  This includes most of the M4/M14's too.  I have noticed an increase in the number of non SF personnel with suppressed rifles at their side.  

I think this is the direct and postive influence of Airsoft on the real steel community.  They've been ghosting our forums.  They've been looking at our photoalbums.  They have finally come to the realization that cans are cool and WE know what we are talking about!   8)
