Camo Form Tape
« on: June 04, 2011, 08:43:25 PM »
Has anyone tried this product, and if so, is it worth buying? I'm kind of skeptical that it would stay on for long periods of time, and I'm concerned that it will leave adhesive residue on the gun after I've removed it. Let me know what you think of it. Thanks

My cousin and I have both had great experience with it. It works like an ace bandage. It sticks to itself, but nothing else so it leaves no residue. It stays put very well if you wrap it correctly. Here is a first time wrap job for example.

Not a big fan of 'wrapped' guns, but that looks pretty sexy.

Wow, that looks really nice...

One thing though, is it loose on the gun, or can you wrap it fairly tight?

It wraps tight and stays put. It doesn't slide around if that is what you are asking. If you wrap it too loose it will just fall off.

I've never used it personally in the field but i've talked to someone who claimed to have left it on his rifle inside a trunk in the summer and it had partially melted, now i've never seen this and it was possibly a different quality, but I wouldn't leave it inside a trunk (which you shouldn't anyways).
