G&G PM5 Problems
« on: June 22, 2011, 01:06:21 PM »
Ok I'm really freaking out here: I just received my G&G PM5-A4 (Full Stock) from evike.com, and there are a few problems with it. First, the butt pad really doesn't want to come off, and the bolt cover seems to be stuck back inside the gun. Is this an easily fixed problem, or should I contact evike? If worst comes to worst I'm going to just run to gearbox to have it fixed. Thank you for any help.

Note: The gun itself is now out of stock there, and I don't want to have to wait 5 months to get it back.

Yet another reason not to buy from Evike. They have burned me several times, and no longer will I order anything from them.

I wouldn't even trust them to replace it, let alone fix it, even if they'll do it for free. Just take it to gearbox. The repair will cost you the same in shipping anyways.

Yes, I know that Evike says they will reimburse for shipping costs, but it's a lie. Been there, done that.

Ok, I was able to fix the problems I had there, as it turns out the spring inside the bolt was stiff, and it returned to normal after I just moved it a bit.
