I'm having a game on Saturday, November 12 at Bushnell Tanks, in the OG area.  If that's too crowded, we'll go back by the Tank.

Games will be simple, straightforward scenarios.  No storyline.

Post here what color uniform you want to wear.  

Meet at the Ba'Ja Conoco at HWY 87 and Ft. McDowell Rd. at 0700.

Everyone be sure to bring a Watch, Radio, Red Rag, and a Pistol in addition to your reglular loadout.

BT is approximately 30 minutes North of Ft. McDowell Rd on the HWY 87.

This game is going down no matter how many people show up, even if it's just me and one other player, Rain or Shine.

It has been brought to my attention that some of you are bothered by a few recent posts that have been moved to the Moderator area ("deleted" as you all see it).

Let me make a few statements, not as an official AA Mod, but as azsarge.

1.  Any post that was moved was done so because it was detrimental to the forums in one way or another.  Argumentative, overly negative, off-topic, or simply non-pertinent.  

2.  Any post that has been moved is available at any time to be reinstated to it's original thread by any of the other mods.  Nothing is ever deleted for good.

3.  Don't ever bother to ask, "Who deleted my post?"  If it's gone, it's because it was Moderated.  All the Mods work together to keep our forums civil, and more importantly, PRODUCTIVE!  There are other forums where you can BS, argue, and discuss things that lead to bickering.  AA is the place to go to discuss games, gear, guns, and shoot the sh*t with your friends.  It's not the place to argue or be negative.

4.  The Mods do not hold any grudges, nor do they discriminate.  I for one will move anything that falls into the above category, no matter who posted it.  I even move my own stuff sometimes!

5.  If you find that one of your posts has been moved, don't lose any sleep over it.  The right thing to do is to re-post it with a more concise point, and most of the time we will allow it.  

6.  Remember, the Mods are here to make the forums better, so have confidence that these forums are getting better every day.  We have many new users and are viewed nationally!

I bought a case of 1,000 rounds of XM855PD from http://www.miragetechnologies.net and finished it off yesterday.  Every rounds functioned as promised.  Not one jam, misfire, or dented primer.  All casings were in perfectly serviceable condition.  The tips were indeed green.  (I read on some other forums that the tips were unpainted in certain batches)

There were a few rounds that seemed to be tracers, but all rounds had green tips.  Not sure what's up with that, but I'm not complaining.

1,000 rounds cost me $169.00, including UPS ground shipping.  I just checked and they are sold out at this time.  Keep checking back.

So, after browsing the forums this evening, I decided to post the most commonly used (read: "PLAYED OUT!") items, phrases in AA that need to be put to sleep.  The list is as follows:

-FunMeters

-Any Morale patch, worn with 2 or more of the same size 2"x1" on one person.  If you have a fun meter, a suck meter, and a BS meter all on one kit, not only are you confused but you are WRONG!

-Saying "+1" as a reply in a topic.

-MP5s of any kind that cost you more than $115

-Retroreflective tape squares

-embroidered flags

-Bloodtype nametapes

-Any eyewear that protrudes more than .75 inches from your face.

-Colored shooting glasses (tinted lenses are ok.  I meanred, yellow, etc.)

-ill-fitting BDUs, or baseball caps.  Wearing a ballcap does not make you look like SF, sorry.  Wear it because it's cool, or because your dog chewed up your PC, not because you think you look better in it.  Also, ballcaps worn with goggles.

-ProTec helmets in the field

-Fake MCCUUs (MARPAT uniforms)

-Flightsuits.  Unless: 1)it's a downed-pilot scenario or 2) we're indoors

-Shemaghs that aren't used to wipe sweat, clean goggles, or wipe your ass.  If you throw it around your neck to look cool, you don't.  Also, OD and Tan shemaghs no matter the use.

The above items/phrases have been overused and are to be considered "uncool" from now on.  

The following items were previously thought to be uncool, but are OK now:

-BLACKHAWK! gear, as long as you know it sucks.

-necroposting as long as you add something worth reading 6 months after the thread has died.

-MultiCam as long as you purchase it and hide in the bushes for half the day, thus utilizing it's potential.  It's trendy, but it IS useful

-Fake ACUs.  Real ones aren't easy to come by lately, so the TS are ok for now.

-Non-modular load bearing gear as long as you know that PALS-based kit is the sh*t, and your non-mod kit is newer than an ELBV

-Black gear, when necessary, in moderation.  I'm talking like one or 2 pouches on a kit.

-T800 goggles.  OG, but until something better comes out, they are GTG.

-HiCaps as long as you mostly use standards.  We all are allowed to be lazy now and then.

-TAC vests as long as you bought it because it works not because it's "all you could afford".

-Civilian footwear

-Civilian clothing as long as you don't look like you just left church or the gym.

The above items are OK for use in AA.
