found a jg m4 on craigslist think I'm going to pick it up on the week end thanks for your help

That wouldn't be a bad deal IF the jg is the enhanced version. JGs that arent "enhanced" arent worth the time or money to get it to a reliable state. I personally think the enhanced JGs are an excellent deal.

Yeah, 8.4v batteries aren't super. If you want to get a little more ROF then upgrade to a 9.6v plus the guns just seem to like 9.6v more. It's kind of weird but youll know what i mean of you upgrade. If you decide to go any higher then 9.6v like 11.1v lipo i would highly recommend taking your gun to gearbox airsoft and having them re shim your gearbox.

What are you test firing for? Are you trying to adjust your hop up or just testing to see if a repair worked?

If you decide to wear a rank put a red piece of cloth behind it. Many people use the red behind the rank to designate that they are the rank for training purposes only.

Fighter town is right next to Speedworld. Ill try and track down an address. The rebel union free games are free but are for people only over the age of 18.

Here is the site for fighter town:

How? Well besides the extreme lack of experience.  [smilie=armata_pdt_26.gif]

Legal restrictions. Minors are also looked at with a negative disposition to begin with, not saying you but as a general rule minors can't seem to grasp the fact that our airsoft guns aren't toys, airsoft is nothing like call of duty, magazines aren't called clips, and the rules must be followed.

It's a hard road trying to get into an adult sport as a minor. My advise to get into the sport at this level, spend the money to get into the private fields. Meet people and prove your maturity through your actions rather then your words. After you've become acquainted with the people who plan games ask to join their games via PM. If they say sorry but no then take it for what it is and don't complain about it.

Like some of Rebel Union's free games at their field.

Rebel Union free games are 18+ for the reasons i've said above. They do hold games at fighter town. It's a good place to start meeting the people who run rebel union.

It is a called a "Longshot", funny considering Nerf darts only cruise so far. After seeing that homemade Mini Gun, I was thinking about stripping the internals out of an old MP5, or G36 and using the Nerf body to create something unique.

LOL i had the same thought. It would be pretty interesting to pull it off.

I've ruined countless vest. My newest vest cost me 160$ and is made of corudura. Hopefully it will stand up to my abuse. I am one who doesn't like to lose so my gear must keep up.

I agree... if you like to shoot plastic cups in your back yard. If you want to compete on the field buy a good reliable AEG then spend no less then 90$ if you want a GBB side arm.

Personal opinion: Pistols are ONLY good for adding unnecessary weight to your kit or training purposes. If you must have a side arm buy a KWA or Tokyo Marui.

I have the OE tech, and I just really don't see a point to spending the extra 40 dollars.  If you somehow manage to fall and tear the material that the OE tech one is made out of, you are going to have a bigger problem then a torn vest.

This is an excellent way to decide if the gear you are looking at buying is cost effective for airsoft. If we were to enter real combat i wouldn't hesitate buying the very best equipment there is to ensure i make it home to my family. Not so true for us weekend warriors...

Accessories & Gear / Re: What Type of Rig do you Prefer for Outdoor Games?
« on: February 05, 2011, 12:05:48 AM »
For standard riflemen deployment in a long game im guna have to one up the land CIRAS! i love mine to NO end. It is a little warm but having the real estate for a hydration carrier makes up for the heat. On top of that im a smaller build and it fits me like a glove. it doesn't even move around when i sprint.

Out of what you've got here i would recommend the MPS, This one:
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=3913

It will be more comfortable then the others. The internal magazine pouches arent super so spend some extra money on some pouches. If you can afford it try to find a land CIRAS or interceptor. They are WAY superior to everything else i believe.
