What Type of Rig do you Prefer for Outdoor Games?

I have my eye on a plate carrier and a lower chest rig, which one do you prefer? I run a VFC MK18 MOD 0.

I love my CT CIRAS style vest. It's comfy and has a ton of MOLLE real estate. However it's HOT. So I usually only use it in big games and cooler weather.

Recently I've been using an Eagle Industries M14 LE chestrig with a couple added pockets and a stand alone Camelback.
Not as much space but I'm planning to add a MOLLE belt to it eventually. You can pick up this rig for about $75.

Here's a great thread that deserves a resurrection.

I prefer a lower chest rig myself cause i can move a lot more in them outdoors.

Heres my rig

I would get a plate carrier for playing cqb cause of all the times you get shot in the chest.  It tends to get to you after a while....

I have, and prefer, an H-harness setup. I had two plate carriers previously, and no longer use them in favor of this little baby. I took a chance and it paid off, the H harness was the cheapest, and most comfortable gear system I ever invested in.  It looks pretty much Identical to this one, but mine is in OD.

The H-harness with both belts and hydro carrier new, cost under $100, and used Hharness/battlebelt combos pop up all the time for around $15-$30

Excellent maneuverability, light, carries well. Probably not going back to plate carriers anytime soon.

I've been out of the game for a while, and I had to look up what I used to wear, but I have an SO Tech Devil Rig (I bought it from Practical Tactical when it was still around). Before that I would use an Eagle Industries CIRAS (land). I switched to the Devil Rig because I found that even though the CIRAS could carry a lot, I found that I never actually needed to carry that much, I learned to cut down to the bare essentials.

I really like my spec op plate carrier. It doesn't have a ton of room, but it stays cool during the summer.

For standard riflemen deployment in a long game im guna have to one up the land CIRAS! i love mine to NO end. It is a little warm but having the real estate for a hydration carrier makes up for the heat. On top of that im a smaller build and it fits me like a glove. it doesn't even move around when i sprint.

I love my MPS, it is smaller than a full sized vest, but bigger than a chest rig, and has MOLLE real estate.  Carries 2 liters of water, my pistol and 3 pistol mags, a flashlight, radio, speedloader, dummy grenade, dead rag, 5000 bb's, googles (when not on the field) gloves, and tools for basic repairs to the hop up, etc.

In order to carry all this, I bought 3 additional pouches.  A double 40mm grenade pouch, a pistol holster with mag holder, and a hydration carrier/backpack.
