I was just camping 2 miles from the playing area this last weekend and the weather was awesome! it was in the high 80's in the day and down in the low 60's at night, there was some rain, but it looks like we should be okay the 16th.

I'll take a spot on the Desert/ATACS team, but I have a slight transportation issue. Anyone living in/passing through the Paradise Valley area with room in their car the day of? I'll gladly pay gas money.

Also, would UCP qualify as green? Just out of curiosity, I might have a +1 and he might be using my old UCP outfit.

We can count them as Tan.

Sorry for not keeping up with the roster, I just had a baby and things were a little hectic, but now they're back to normal and I can update on a weekly basis. You'll notice some of the players names will have "*FB*" at the end of their names and those are from the same game posted on three different Facebook pages. And Crossfire has extended an invitation to The Northern Arizona Airsoft teams found on https://sites.google.com/site/naanetwork/home , and they have accepted.

Crossfire's Free Summer Airsoft event hosted by Crossfire and sponsored by LynchTec Airsoft

Crossfire is back at it again! We did this last year and had an amazing turn out, and with all the positive feedback, we went back to the drawing board and came up with improved scenarios, better props, and new objectives.

When: 15 - 17 of August 2014
Where: On the Rim, Apache Sitgreaves National Forest near Chevelon Canyon Lake

Schedule (subject to change):
If you can't come Friday please come join us Saturday morning.

Friday-
•   Set up camp and familiarize yourself with the terrain
•   Play short games as people come
•   Eat

8 pm - First night Game Attack and Defend:  each team member will wear 1 chem stick during game play (see colors below).  Defending team protects the flag with their glow stick color mounted to pole.  Attacking team’s objective is to raise their glow stick on the flag pole and hold Flag for 30 min.

10 pm - 2nd night game Sniper Challenge: One team defends the target area, attacking team works in pairs, a sniper and a spotter. Objective: Sniper must hit the target undetected. Spotter must protect the sniper. Rules: If both the sniper and spotter are hit before engaging the target then both team members must return to the start point, if one team member is hit then the other may revive by placing two hands on downed player, team cannot split up. Sniper team may engage any of the opposing team to protect themselves. If neither team member has a sniper rifle then an AEG will be used on single shot only. The game is over when all sniper teams have hit the target. No flash lights or chem sticks used.

Saturday-

Wake up, eat breakfast, chronograph guns, gear up, and separate into teams...

10 am - first game Rescue Pilot: Both teams must try to rescue the pilot and retrieve the data recorder from his aircraft. Teams must battle for possession of both the Pilot and the Data recorder. The game is over when one team takes possession of both, returns to their base and defends and maintains possession of the pilot and recorder for 30 minutes.

Noon - lunch break and airsoft swap meet

2 pm - Destroy the Satellite Depot: At last year’s event we hosted, we played this type of game, and after 2.5 hours it was still not completed. We have made some modifications and improvements to props and rules.

How team One beats team Two is by destroying their satellite and sounding the air horn. The only way to destroy the satellite is by taking the depots which contain different parts of the code, and those can be found at each supply depot.

Location Alpha (Food): Quickly dispose of any enemy forces and supplies remaining, and collect Intel.
Location Bravo (Medical): Destroy depot and any resisting enemy forces, and collect Intel.
Location Charlie (Ammo): Collect Intel; and destroy remaining weapons, ammunition, and enemy forces.
Location Zulu (Cannot be completed without the code): Locate the satellite, open code locked box, and sound the air horn.

Team 1: You can attack and destroy each supply depot individually or all at once. You can occupy Zulu at any time, but you cannot destroy the satellite until all four parts of the code are found and entered by anyone on your team. Once you take a depot, take down the enemy flag and replace it with the one provided in the tube on the pole and take the code with you. Once the depot is yours it can now be used as a spawn point.

Team 2: Your only objective is to defend the supply depots and the satellite. Once you lose a depot, it can't be taken back. When the satellite is overrun, create a new spawn to fight for the satellite. The Satellite is the only location that can be reclaimed by your team.

After Satellite Depot game- take a short break and play Last Stand: Losing team of Depot game retreats to secondary base to make their final stand, game then becomes attack and defend.  Attacking team must drive defenders from their base. The game is over when the attackers eliminate all defenders from the base.

6 pm - Dinner time, for those who stay.

8 pm - S'mores will be provided by Team Crossfire for a little R&R by the fire to share war stories and kick back.

Night games played and organized by those remaining.

Sunday-

Wake up, clean up camp and go home

Gear Needed:

Airsoft equipment - Guns, ammo (Bio BB's highly recommended), magazines, batteries, accessories etc.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) - Safety glasses, goggles, or metal mesh goggles (EYE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED)

Game gear - 2 green and 2 blue chem sticks (can be found at most sporting goods stores and Wal-Mart), A red bandanna or red rag for deaths. We would like to see everyone wearing full camo and if you don’t have camo wear all black or dark green, no jeans unless they’re black or dark green.

Map:

Additional Information and notes: Stick to the map and follow all directions exact and you’ll make it there with no trouble. We will also have signs posted “Crossfire” with directional arrows. We get very little to no cell reception where we’ll be.

Camping and Airsofting: You are responsible for your own camping and Airsofting gear as well as food and drinking water. Be sure to bring at least one gallon of drinking water per day. There may be fire restriction, but we're hoping that's lifted by then. We have spoken with one of the ranger stations in Apache and Sitgreaves National Forests, and Crossfire will have an "Event/ Commercial Permit" for this activity (for more information see www.fs.usda.gov/main/asnf/home).

General Concerns: PPE is REQUIRED at all times during gameplay!! We will be playing an eighth to a quarter mile away from our camp minimum. We will be playing respawns and medic rules, these rules will be further discussed at the pre-game briefings. Keep foul Language to a minimum out of respect for others. No one under 16 is permitted to play without a guardian, if you are under 16 you must be playing with your guardian on your team and cannot play unless said guardian is playing in the current game. We will be divided into teams before we play and teams will be separated by uniform. At night you will need to communicate with your team and know of their whereabouts at all times. For each scenario there will be a mission statement and briefing as well as several maps provided for each team. We will have a chronograph and tags, so have your guns ready for it.

FPS limits: 385 w/.25
Snipers/DMR 530 w/ .25's Single Fire ONLY minimum range 100’

AEG's / Need gears for JG M4 7mm Gearbox
« on: January 31, 2014, 01:06:02 PM »
I need gears for a JG M4 7mm Gearbox, new or used. I don't want to spend a lot, I'm in east mesa and I can come  get them after 5:30pm tonight from your house, a gas station, or wherever. I'd prefer not to drive too far, just let me know the major cross streets of where you want to meet.
Don't PM me, I don't check the forum much during the day, just text me if you have a set of gears 480-684-0560

I wear a lower mask and goggles unless I'm sniping, then I wear a black ski mask and goggles. It aint worth loosing tooth  in airsoft, my dental probably doesn't cover tooth replacement.

I don't usually enjoy most airsoft videos, because people don't edit out all the garble and boring stuff, but I liked your video.
