I was going to say. Before everyone gets there gear in a knot, definitely google the locations of these places..... The one I found was as close to in the city as you can get. It would be totally fun to run around in an abandoned amusement park, I can see the insurance and location problems already. Not to mention the fact that there would more then likely have to be some kind of additional cover put up along the boundaries, as the walls may not be adequate to catch wayward rounds.  Its definitely doable, just don't expect this to be easy or free. 

I would be in for an 18+ game. That would convince me this isn't the new vanguard, and convince me to keep spending money there.

I stopped spending money on a place that is over run with immature little pubescent kids with no respect.   ( Some 13 year old's were wearing combat patches and unit patches with no regard... at VIP) 

I agree with Exarach and it would have to be 18+ for legality reasons.

I just don't want to be sued by some kids insurance should someone under 18 come out there and get injured.  For that matter I wouldn't want the host sued either. Insurance is ridiculous about this lately. When I fell off the cliff at one of our night games.... My insurance asked before they paid my hospital bill... if it was an event or hosted by anyone... This is so they could sue them. Of course I told them I was hiking and it was solely my responsibility. But that wouldn't be the same situation with people under 18. Anyways. I am not trying to turn this thread into another -18 bitch thread. 

 If you do host here I would be interested unless it's some zombie games which I have no interest in.

Paradox and gents, i think it really boils down to risk vs reward. and  you are 100% correct with all your comments. being a business owner, at one time, i had to think about eveything. i carried a million dollar insurance policy just on myself. i think the best way to get around the 'being sued' is to have a business lawyer draft a waiver, that coinsides with the libablity insurance the PO is carrying. i really hope this happens, BUT it will take ALOT work and planning to pull it off.

on the note about -18 and under, i hate to say this but they are where the money is. so i would propose time slots or different days for each age group. ex. weekdays , all ages. friday, saturday & sunday, 9a-2p all ages, 2-6p -18, and 6-11,12ish, +18.. these are just my opinions so be nice everyone!

i know that but i saying if you only have 18+ you are losing the revnue from the youger group, the "little" kids is what keeps VIP running. why would only limit it to adults when kids parents are willing to give you money to "babysit" their monsters for a view hours. (and you get to shot them on top of it lol )

I believe he meant it wasn't going to be an 18+ field only. If he doesn't host 18+  games he won't make money,  it's that simple. Sometimes adults need adult time without kids. You'll understand when you're older.

And that's not to mention legality, which in the end is what dictates the final decision for  EVERYTHING.

I don't know why you would want to close that area off. It would be sick if we could fit vehicles on it for a simulated convoy arriving at the area. Or just as a very different area to airsoft in.
