With anyone purchasing their first gun I would always suggest getting the m-series because of most people are knowledgeable with them and there are loadssssssssssssssssssssssssss of possibilities when it comes to upgrading and its easy to find replacement parts for, they're also easiest to learn from.

Its actually not my first gun, I had a panther arms M4 Carbine, but the plastic gearbox snapped in half, so im looking for a gun with a metal gearbox, all 3 of the ones i listed have metal gear boxes.

What he ment is one of these will be your first REAL airsoft rifle.

I'd go with whatever is comfortable for you. Pick them up and figure out what feels right for you. I prefer M4/16 style rifles because I'm in the Marines. My brother likes MP5 style SMG's because thats what fits him. My dad uses a M-14 because that is what he is familiar with and would also use a M16A1. Its all personal preferance. You will never see me with a P90 or AK because I don't like the feel.

Are you understanding where I'm coming from??

Yeah, i do,

I decided to buy the Jing Gong MP5A4 (the one with full stock and no suppresor)

The only thing that bothers me is that it might only have a 50 round magazine, what weird though is when you go to airsplat.com, go to electric guns, the mpeg's then scroll down until you see 4 mp5s in a row two with full stocks and two with suppressors, so they get all possibilities. then when you look at them from the group view, you see it says "50 round standard capacity magazine" then when you click it to go to its guns personal page, it says it has a 250 round high capasity magazine?????

ok, heres my 2 cents. my first gun was the JG m4 S-System and *knocks on wood* i have never had a problem with it at all in the 1 and a half years ive been playing. so for that very reason i would have to suggest this gun and there are plenty of more reasons to come.
1) the gun shoots hard with no upgrades, after all this time of playing on a regular has put the guns muzzle velocity at 384fps consistant.
2) its cheep! i got mine from evike.com for 110$. it now cost 155$ (i got mine back when evike was an ebay store haha)
3)its accurate, i dont have problem taking shots at ranges over 60 yards and gitting kills, i even run a scope on mine and its stock....

and now the con...
1) abs recievers, yes the main body is made of plastice. some people see this as a bad thing... personaly i have not had any problems with the body being stock

heres the link to evike: http://www.airsoftpost.com/tacticalsyst ... 27777.html

PM me with questions if you have any. hope i helped
