What's the range on this thing?

Not really even sure if it qualifies as an AEG, but it still has a battery (not sure if it is absolutely essential in its operation with that CO2 in place). At nearly 900fps, I'd guess maybe 300 feet, but that's just a wild stab on my part. Has anyone actually seen one of these things in action?

Um, banned from any play as far as I'm concerned.  That's not an airsoft gun, that's a weapon.   :?

To use that in a game would be meaning to cause injury. That would easily tell me about someone's personality.

I would ban that sucker the minute I saw it. I don't consider that safe by any means. Why the heck do they create guns like that. They know someone will get hurt.

Would be neat to have...for sh!ts and giggles, but under no circumstance should it be used to fire at another living being!

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

They make the Vulcan airsoft gun and others like this just to have fun with. I would not mind having it around just to see what I could put a whole in :P.

I'd be more worried about killing somebody, which probably wouldn't be all that difficult with that gun.

As I recall, 800fps is about the speed of a .45 round. This hasn't the mass, but it's gotta be dangerous.

Just a tragic accident waiting to happen, and guess what the press would report..

Wow.  Ya don't see too many horribly stupid ideas everyday (depending on where and with whom you live), but that's one of them.  They said they modified an MP5 to fire clean through the wood oplanks of their CQB area.  'No, we didn't use it for CQB games.'  I still don't think I'd wanna get hit by that at a hundred feet, not to mention 10.

I'd think its more immediate use is extremely long range sniping. I think the minimum engagement distance for this thing would need to be increased of course.

Guys... I think he was asking for the RANGE on this thing, not on your opinions if it should be used in a game.

Eh supposition is part of human nature and I've come to terms that. But that doesn't mean I like it.

Well, as Ive said before (causing great disbelief here), my Maruzen shoots 740-800fps with .20's and when using .29's I can effectively hit a target at 400-500 feet. I cant give an opinion on the weapon in the link since I cant get the link to work, but if it is truly shooting in the 900fps range, I would think 500-600 feet would be possible.
