Hey fella's, I think you are all reading way too much into the "patch" issue here. Yes I'm sure that some people could become offended by someone wearing a unit patch on his/her uniform. Please keep in mind that perhaps it was given to them by a family member, or they just want to add more realism to the game. Second, for all of the people out there that feel airsoft is not or should not be a military style sport.....time to get with reality. Can't handle it....go play speedball where you don't carry military style gear and weapons, and get to shoot neon colored markers! Third. If you want to wear a unit combat patch for realism...thats ok! It makes the airsoft experence more intense and fun. Let us remember that there are A TON OF MILITARY BRATS AND NERDS THAT PLAY AIRSOFT. (no offence....I happen to be one too...) Also bear in mind that most players will wear patches because they like the paticular unit being worn. I would hope that anyone would not make the mistake of not starting a good friendship over a patch being worn. That's just plain stupid. We all enjoy playing airsoft and making new friends along the way. I would ask anyone who chooses to add a combat patch to his/her uniform to wear it with pride! And to also remember that many men and women have died wearing that patch to GIVE YOU AND ALL OF US THE FREEDOM AND RIGHT to play our wonderful sport, and to live and grow old in this God given great country we call home! If a military member comes up to you and asks about it, be honest! And last....Look them in the eye, shake his/her hand, and say THANK YOU!
Keep it real!
