I'm disappointed as well.  I am looking forward to Call of Duty though; hopefully that will hold me over until HL2 comes out.  Battlefield Vietnam (same thing as BF 1942) should be out sometime as well, which looks to be a GREAT game.

I would love for HL2 to come out by Christmas, but I must say that I am a bit iffie about it. I guess just since HL was pushed back so far, I am not going to believe anything until it has gone gold. Although I want it right now, I want to play the best game possible. I never heard anything about Battlefield Vietnam, but I live the MOD Desert Combat.

I tried to download the trailer from FilePlanet, but it looks like you have to be a member (strange...usually I just have to wait in line for 20 minutes [:P]) is there anywhere else that has the 25 minute trailer?

Thanks Kurn, I don't know what I did wrong. Yesterday I went to that same page, but when I clicked "download" it gave me this whole spiel about signing up (not the usual page where they try to tempt you with servers with no wait). Oh well, at least I can get it now [8D]

Ok, I know you have all heard about Half-Life 2, but have you seen the long trailer (25 mins. or so)? This is the graphics are unbelievable. Take it from someone who understands what modeling and making textures involves, those guys at Sierra have really outdone themselves. If you haven't seen the long trailer, you can download it from http://www.Fileplanet.com . However, if you don't want to sign in and all that stuff I really suggest that you download the shorter trailer from here:

http://www.3dgamers.com/dl/games/halfli ... w.avi.html    <-- for lower  resolution or slower connections.

or here:http://www.3dgamers.com/dl/games/halflife2/halflife2_divx_high.avi.html <-- High resolution or fast connections

I really just sit around playing with my POV-ray and photoshop, so I don't know any of the high end programs, but I do know that they did one heck of a job, and I will most certianly get it ASAP!

p.s. In regards to Counter-Strike: Condition Zero... From the looks of the graphics the games will be seperate. Perhaps networks simply couldn't handle the same amount of info that a single computer can. So I suspect that CZ and HL2 will be seperate and that HL2 will be single player only. [:(]
