New Outer barrel for G&G GR-16

I have a G&G GR-16 combat machine and I want to get a new outer barrel because I would like to remove my front sights.  However  the front sight is not removable on that barrel and I would also like shorter outer barrel so that I can attach a mock suppressor or tracer unit to the front and not have the thing be a walking stick.

I currently have a magpul MOE foregrip on it so I need the delta ring style front as well.

I can post pictures if needed but its just a standard GR16 with magpul forgrip and stock.

Any recommendations would be great cause right now I'm half tempted to go at the thing with a dremel and just cut off the front sight that way.

Carefull when you do. Usually on those guns, the front triangle sight also is a support for the front handgaurd. Make sure to check to see if that is the case before you cut it off.

the G&G barrel design is such a pain in the arse its riduculous how they designed it. my recomendation is if you want an internal suppressor and stuff get this and just take the entire front end off

I would to that but I want to keep my magpul front end and my gun is wired to the front not the rear so that option is comptley out.  On another forum someone said to just cut it off at the gas block and paint it black but after taking my carry handle of today my dot is acutally right at the tip of the front post on my sight so I might actually keep it on there...

Gotta see how accurate it is first...

if you cut your barrel shorter, you wont have threads and you wont have a front sight-.-

the outer barreel is unscrewable so you can make it a 10" outer barrel if you want. and you can still screw on a scilencer.
as for the front sight, you can purchase a flip-up front sight. like this one http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_109&products_id=29398
