Airsoft Items FOR SALE / WE ACE-VD Black Aluminum (For Sale)
« on: December 21, 2013, 10:20:22 AM »
I am putting my ACE-VD up for sale.

Got it about 6 months ago and have not really used it at all, put maybe 120 BB's through it in its life. Still fires and operates as expected. The only wear on the gun is where the fire selector rubs on the body other than that it is in pristine condition. One strange thing that does happen once in a while is the magazine will not lock the bolt back. I think it is because the spring in the mag that is supposed to hold up a metal tab when the mag is empty has lost its power for some reason.

Here is what comes with it

1X WE ACE-VD
1X ACE-VD Magazine
1X lilghtly used KWA Green Gas
1X Quick feed tube that came with the gun
1X Extra (not sure what it is called but its what stops the bolt from going too far back into the gun) Plastic bolt stopper

And as a bonus, if this sells sometime around the holidays, i will throw in

1X HFC Mac 11, Missing a magazine

It is in good condition, i have ground down the rear and front sights to give is a more streamline apperance. And the blaze orange tip has some obvious paint removal.

Asking $160 Price is negotiable
Feel free to text me at (602-748-0303) Sorry for no pics, don't have use of a camera At the moment but i will be able to text you phone pictures
Thank you and Happy Holidays

Reviews / shredders concave spacer "SCS"
« on: October 16, 2009, 07:03:46 PM »
A Shredder's Concave Spacer or SCS replaces the stock hop-up nubs/spacers that come along with AEG's. It it manually made on a lathe and each is measured with the use of a Mitutoyo Digital Caliper in order to get a precise measurement that will make it fit inside the hop assembly and the barrel window.

For those of you who don't know what it looks like

                                                                          V

Trust me.. this picture does not show just how small this little guy is, here is a pic of it sitting on top of a BB (notice the perfect contour of the "nub" and how it fits around the BB)

* It's Made from special impact-resistant non-biodegradable-environment-hostile engineering plastic that theoretically lasts forever
(but of course, we won't live that long to find out)

* Machined 1 piece (not molded)

* Cut just right to fit standard hop-ups. (custom sizes available upon request)

* Designed for maximum bb surface contact

Keep in mind that you HAVE TO use a SOFT HOP UP BUCKING for it to work properly.. If you don't the BB will not fit the concave design of the "nub" and will pretty much render it useless. Also some modification may be needed to use this "nub"

THIS IS STRAIGHT OFF SHREDDERS WEB SITE

The SCS makes your hop-up very sensitive and it must be aligned/centered properly to get its maximum effect.

The SCS is not a "plug and play" hop-up upgrade and you must eliminate all the hop-up problems (wobbles, misalignments, hop-up defects such as plastic/metal "flash" that came from the factory molds, barrel window must be at least 4.10mm wide and the edges should not be sharp).

-Now for the actual review-

I have a 09' Classic Army m14a4, before the "nub" it was shooting a little below average (BB's would go way off the path of the others)
so i decided to invest in a tight bore... i went to gearbox and picked me up a mad bull 6.03mm bore at 363mm long, after i installed it i noticed that the groupings were much tighter than the stock barrel but BB's were still going all hay wire practically every 10 or 15 shots. Thats when i new that the hop up was the problem. so i looked around and found some write ups of the SCS and decided to get it along with a systema bucking (all from Evike.com)

I installed it and presto chango the random BB's were all taken care of and the groupings were even tighter

This is a great investment and i would not recommend anything other than this for your hop up. Even if your not having  any problems with your gun, this will greatly enhance the performance of your gun.

Be weary tho.. my order was on back order for about a week and a half before they shipped it out

Troubleshooting / 09 CA m15a4, help! updated
« on: October 13, 2009, 11:34:21 PM »
-EDITED-

i dont know what the hell CA was thinking when they made these but they are a nightmare to take apart... if anyone has taken one apart before please let me know how, the only thing standing between me and the gearbox is the bolt catch lever inside the gun.. i got the mag release screwed off but now when i try to pull the gearbox out thee is a long piece of metal on the bolt catch that gets in the way
please help

maybe a stupid question but how do you take out the mag release on the new classic army guns (there is no screw, only a push pin)? i have been trying to figue out how to take it apart so i could get to the gearbox and can not figure it out for the life of me... i looked all over the web and found no tuts on how to do this
-thanks-

How good are the "propper" ACU uniforms?
Also what do the sizes on BDU.com mean? Ex- Height and Sleeve.. like where does the sleeve length stop and end when measuring? Same with the height.
Haha one more Q.. what does this mean, Blouse- 37-41in x 59-63in.
Plus does anybody know if acuarmy.com is a good place to buy from?
