Eagle CIRAS Replica
« on: March 26, 2006, 11:25:11 AM »
http://cgi.ebay.com/Phantom-Eagle-CIRAS ... dZViewItem

Been looking for a CIRAS for a while, and just different systems, trying to see what I like more.

My question, does anyone have any experience with this? And does anyone know what company made this?

I probably would stay away from what you found there. Looks kinda cheapo.

Eagle Industries makes the best CIRAS that I know of.

Okay.

Mikey wears this exact same rig. It's pretty awesome.

Of course Eagle makes the best CIRAS, it's also about twice the price.

No, they make the ONLY CIRAS.

If it's not Eagle Industries, it's not a Combat Integrated Releaseable Armor System.

Matt, it will be fine for what you'd use it for.

Well, Mikey's is a Maritime Version, but sine the manufacturer is the same, so it will be fine.

The quality and materials are very good for a replica kit.

Of course, Coyote tactical is always and option...

I don't know. It's up to you man. But I'm not a big fan of wearing gear out and having to go back and buy more. I buy to keep, I don't buy to throw away.

I am out of the CIRAS copying business. Too much work for too little income, there are so many options that will fit your needs that are cheaper and more availiable.

And I am pretty swamped with orders as it is.

TAG has a new design that looks similar to the Eagle CIRAS, but it's not releasable. I made one just like this one before TAG's came out. Check it out here:

There will be a releasable one that looks almost exactly like the Maritime Ciras. Release setup and all.

This is what I commonly refer to as the "P-RAS".

Apperantly there are two makers of this.

MILSPEX and Phantom

Milspex seems to be the cheaper of the two.

The CIRAS are towards the bottom.
