Any experience?
Have equipment? If so, what?
Been to any major ops?
Have you ever been on a team before?
Does anybody know you?
Those things can help people decide if they want to play with you or not.

Below is the guide I usually give to people. "Meanie Head" is indicative of a word such as tool, toolbag, toolbox, and other less clean disparaging comments.

LP's guide for getting on a team: (c)2010
1. Get some gear (at least a gun, eyepro, and a dead rag)
2. Browse the Local Games sections on here and AA, go to a game.
3. Make sure you are eligible to play (age limits, eyepro and other safety requirements, bios, fps limits, etc)
4. Drive to the game on the day of the event, get there early and talk to people.
5. Don't be a meanie head. Some people think this isn't important, but it really is.
5a. Play fair.
5b. Call your hits, and don't whine about it when others don't.
5c. Have a good time, and don't be discouraged. It's easy to not do as well when you're alone, find someone else who isn't there with a lot of friends and stick by them. (This can be your first 'friend'/networked acquaintance)
6. Keep talking to people, make friends.
7. Those friends will either be interested in playing with you more, from which you can spawn a team after a while
7alternate. Those friends will already be on a team(s) and may eventually invite you to join them, especially if you ask them for help and if you can join the team.
Alternate for steps 1 through 3
1. Browse the Local Games section for an MTT or Fightertown game where rental guns will be available.
2. Call or PM etc the people in charge of the game and tell them you want to rent a gun.

General Airsoft Requirements:
1. Eyepro.
2. Don't be a meanie head.
3. Be ready to learn.
4. Don't be a meanie head.
5. BRING WATER
6. Don't be a meanie head.
7. Be ready to learn
8. BRING WATER
9. Don't be a meanie head.
10. Dead rag
11. BRING WATER

Try answering the questions at the top of my post kid.
Your reputation is negligible. You're young. Your gear is sub-par.
There are teams in your area that you might fit in perfectly with. Good luck.
