Yes we can give steelworks its own squad. Let us know what faction you want.

Team Comedian http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source= ... 8&t=h&z=10

It should be in the OP but the price is $20 if you preregister and $30 at the door. Preregistration is at Gearbox and Cowtown.

I'm a little confused of the role of the PMC. In the description it sounds like they can go either way depending on the condition. But realistically you wouldn't see Black-water, L.I.O.N. or any other PMC "sanctioned by the UN" open fire on US troops or UN personnel.

well, that's because they can go both ways.  If you read the back story they are a corrupt PMC, that is exploiting the situation to make money.  Its just a way to exploit the story to make an interesting aspect to the game.

Realistically, no, you wouldn't see any "UN sanctioned" Private Military organization opposing US troops in real life but this scenario is entirely a work of fiction.  While the 82nd airborne is obviously meant to represent the real 82nd airborne, and the OLA is a generic gorilla army, the PMC are in no way meant to reflect any real PMC, such as Blackwater exct. who do a dangerous but noble job protecting assets in really messed up places.

The US dropped the Black-Water contract because of their use of force on civilians in Baghdad and other areas. There is always going to be Blue on Blue incidences in war, and I know they fired on us and we fired on them several times but it was all accidental. The US never got into a fire fight with a PMS or vice-versa just because they were interfering with one an others mission. And I realize this isn't Iraq. I was just curious of the PMC actions and motives during the game and whether there would be a use of force policy; i.e. Fire only when fired upon.

Hey all I posted an example mission on the Game play thread here:

viewtopic.php?f=10&t=28544&p=218102#p218102

Anyone who is wondering how the renegade PMC works, or is wondering how the points system works should take a look at it.  Like I have been saying there is a lot of back story to this game, and it seems complex, but the missions are really strait forward.  I should have most of the missions posted in order by next week.
