Introduce Yourself! / Kilroy of MAKO Team
« on: May 06, 2011, 12:06:03 PM »
Hey everyone!

My name is Kilroy, Squad Lead of MAKO Team out of Kansas City Mo. I have been playing for about 5 years, all of them with MAKO. We have attended OKI:IV, OP:Phoenix I & II, and are stoked for OKI:VI. We, MAKO Team, specialize in LRRP but we do train and participate in a lot of CQB to be as well rounded as possible.

Our current goal in our area is to bring MILSIM closer to home. We LOVE to travel for good MILSIM but it accord to us "Why don't we change the airsoft is viewed in our area?" and bring up the "noobs" coming into the sport in the ways it should be played. We don't need "backyarders" ruining the sport for the rest of us.

Thus enter, Operation: Midnight Harvest II. This is our first true milsim event. No Hi-caps, Ammo restrictions, and milsim like objectives for each team. So, any support from local MilSim Enthusiasts to experience our OP let us know what to change from THIS OP to the next. Granted AZ and KC aren't exactly the CLOSEST of convenient AOs but with the right support we can move to larger fields and produce better OPs.

This turned into a bit of a long winded introduction. Hope this will suffice!
