If you want to walk away that quickly, I won't stop you.

HOWEVER, my intention was not to bust your chops, sir.  Like I said, I'm not giving out parental advice because if I did, I'd be full of sh*t since I have no children.  If you see fit for him to play, and he can handle it, that's totally cool with me!

My point was simply that he might not be able to "hang" with some of the fast-paced action we have at games.  You're his father, and given your past experience, you know best.

I highly encourage you both to come out to a game!  There are a few other father/son groups out here and I love to see it!  Please do not take what I said as derogitory, as that was not my intention.

Hello, my name is Aaron, I'm 19 and live in Mesa.  I currently own a TM Sig 552 and a full metal Desert Eagle.  I have yet to actually get to a game with anyone, due to schedule conflicts, but I'm looking forward to getting to a few once I get my own transportation. ;)

Recon - cool.  I hope to see you at a game soon, bro!

Anubis - I got family near aurora.  I love CO but it's so goddamn cold!  After leaving the 0 degree weather and snow in VA, I vowed to never intentionally travel to anyplace that is less than 65 degrees at the time!  8)  Although, Ft. Carson is a nice post!  You're 16?  Cool.

Addo - welcome!  Look me up at the next game you make it out to.

azsarge - Thanks for the welcome.  "next" game I make it to? I haven't been to one yet.  But yeah, I'll look for you. ;)
I've just gotta say this... Your sig makes me laugh every time I read it. :D

I just think it's funny (and a little odd) that every person that has met me anywhere that I've used this name has automatically shortened it to plain "Addo"...  I don't mind, I just think it's odd... o.0

[begin tired, unrelated rant]What the?!?!? I'm too "newbie" to create a topic?!? After I spent 10 minutes typing it all?!?[end tired, unrelated rant]

You have to have so many post to be able to start a thread.  This was done to stop people who never participate at this site, except to post up the crap they are selling.  Its kind of a spam control. Cause we all know how we hate spam : )  This way only serious people with a desire to be involved can post threads and dont worry you'll be able to post a thread soon.

Yes, I hate spam too (I get plenty of it in my e-mail, thank you...), but I have a bunch of legitimate (I think?) questions, and I don't want to wait. ;)

Hey, just found your site.  My friends and I started airsofting in Jan/Feb and are trying to find people to play with, since there are only six of us.  I'm from east Tucson, and my friends are farther to the southeast, mostly in Rita Ranch, if you know the area.  I use a KWA Beretta M93r as my primary weapon.  My friends all have AEGs, but it doesn't take 600 BBs to get a hit, a lesson I've been able to teach them =P.  I hope there's some people here that we can get together with from time to time.  Some of us are considering attending that NOD/GDI simulation weekend event.

Well, when it's 30 (15/15), you might want more than 25 shots a mag.. I learned that the hard way (when I only had 3 aeg mags). Now, I have 11 stars, soon to be more! :)

How far along are you in the sport? Got bdu's, a vest, radio? Guessing no vest, having a sidearm as a primary..

Nice talkin ;)

There are several teams down in Tuscon that play regularly, some that come to mind are Swairtac and Sa-tac.

I haven't invested a whole lot.  I'm just a poor college student delivering pizza.  All I've gotten is a leg holster, but it was poorly designed and one side of the pistol strap had a snap, so I lost it pretty quickly, and it flops all over now...so I don't even really use that.  A few of my friends wear BDU, but I can still see them fairly easily, so I don't really feel like I need any camouflage yet.  We'll see how I do in a large group with experienced players, though =P.  I was thinking that one of these would be pretty cool: http://www.uscav.com/productinfo.aspx?p ... 188&pos=17 hehe but that's just pipedreaming.

Do those Tucson clubs have websites or anything?
