Gas Powered Guns / Weird problem with a KSC Mk.23 SOCOM
« on: August 21, 2004, 11:03:27 PM »
Recently I noticed that my KSC Mk.23 SOCOM is doing something rather strange, and I'm wondering if anyone's ever encountered this before and/or knows a fix for it.
To make a long story short, I recovered some of the BBs I'd fired through the gun, and noticed that all of them had an identical groove shaved into the surface. The groove is circular in cross-section, and does not appear to have been made by the impact of the BB on the target(I fired test rounds into a towel to be certain). The pistol also seems to be using more gas than it should...the gas isn't lasting for an entire magazine.
If anyone knows what's causing this and how to fix it, please let me know. The gun's scheduled for some serious upgrades in the next few months, and I want to have it working properly before I modify it.
