With just about two months to go for this game, we currently have about 63 people registered and we only have 37 more spots available for the Marines.  Sign up soon to ensure you reserve your free spot for the game.  If we hit the 100 player mark, we will consider opening more spots for a $20 admission fee per person.

It's all good Victor. If anything, I'll be happy to ferry anyone in my 2wd Truck across the dodgy spots.

I'd love to attend for the marines but my accord definately won't make it. :( a friend of mine is interested in playing also. If anybody has room for two that'd be much appreciated, and I'll fill out the form asap.

Update on the road condition and wash crossing:

We improved the wash crossing by removing much of the sand from the wash, so now it is very crossable even for sedans. 4WD is not necessary to cross (or to drive on any part of the dirt road) but we do recommend entering the wash at 10 to 15 mph and never falling below 10 mph as you cross. Never for any reason should  you  stop while crossing, not even in 4WD.  This is the best way to get your vehicle stuck.

We also improved the 3 spots after the big wash and placed small boulders in front of the steep drop-offs to warn drivers to avoid driving into them.   Sedans should be able to make the entire trip but please stay alert and drive carefully looking for potential hazards. You really should never drive more than 20 mph while on the dirt road in order to give you ample time to slow down when coming up on potential hazards. We still don't recommend bringing your brand new sports car or low profile vehicles like Scion mini-vans or Nissan Sentras out to the property unless you plan to leave them out there for good :)

Items to consider bringing:

Backpack to carry supplies and your lunch.  We will be keeping breaks and lunch short in order to maximize game time, so if you carry all your gear and food with you, we can move on to the next mission much quicker.
Snacks or easy to eat food for lunch
Dump pouch to keep track of your empty mags
Facemask with mouth protection (no mesh wire for eyes, facemask must contain a lens). Sealed shooting glasses are acceptable for adults only. Minors must wear full facemask with mouth protection.
Mid-Cap or Standard mags. Hi Cap mags allowed, but discouraged unless you're using a heavy weapon like a SAW
Camelback or similar hydration carrier. Ideally, if you can get a larger hydration carrier that doubles as a backpack or you might just want to throw your bladder from your Camelback into your backpack so you're not trying to figure out how to carry both.
Plenty of water (at least 1 gallon, preferably 2 per person)
Red rag to let others know you've been hit
Hiking or combat boots
Gloves
