You saw a BHD? Do you mean an M733? If so, at that price I'd be a little sucspicious. Have whoever you might be buying it from send DETAILED pics, and ask for specs and any damage the gun may've incured as well.

Be cautious, this wouldn't be the first sham airsoft deal that I've seen before.

Time for my $.02, so cover your eyes.

The ONLY reson to buy a 733 is if you are completelely BHD-OBSESSED, and/or like guns that were used 10 years ago.  Now before you all jump on me and remind me that 733s are still seen in a few units these, days, don't bother, I already know.  The fact is the 733 has no removeable carry handle, and has no battery upgrade option, other than a battery bag.  Not cool!

The right choice would be to get some brand of M4A1 with a RIS (or RAS, whatever), SIR, ETC, or SOB, and get a shorter barrel kit.  Do some REAL M4's have short barrels?  YES!  Does it look kickass, and come in handy in tight spots?  YES!
BTW, that rail system, other than looking cool, provides many battery storage alternatives, including the ever-popular fake IR units (ie AN/PEQ-2 [NOT spelled AN-PECK!]).  If you want a surefire for that 733, where ya gonna stick it?  Ok, on a barrel mount.  That Aimpoint?  Fine on a carry-handle mount.  A bigger battery?  Whats that you say, A BAG?!?  Catch my drift?  You can only go so far with the 733 and no rails.  Besides, who doens't want to have the latest and greatest SOF weapon this side of Ft. Bragg?

As for its perks, it has an EG1000, v2 box, and looks like "Hoot's" gun (for those who give a damn).  It's also nice and short, and is a really cute piece of plastic (yeah, I said CUTE!).

END EDITORIAL.

Cheers, lads!

I will say, having handled both a short barreled M4 with all the options Christian mentioned, as well as a vanilla M733...
They're pretty much the same.  Carry an extra battery. [:)]
The M733 is mighty handy, and I'd say it's a real value.  If you want a flat top, get a flat top upper, they're always floating around cheap because someone buys a metal body.

It's really a smokin deal.  You can always get a rail set later, but to have the little bugger all set up with the short barrel, ready to deal plastic in CQB, that's too good to pass up for so little money.

All I have to say is "Colt A3 Commando"!  Full stock with large battery and short 10.5 inch barrel.

Back to the topic, I bought my m733 from combatclub for $168. This is by far the cheapest price anywhere. However it seems they have raised the price. They have good customer service and everything went smoothly. As far as I know there is no difference between the m733BHD and m733C.

There is a difference, but not enough to warrant your concern. Keep us up to date with how you like it!

Personally, for my short weapon I got a G36C. It does have many more options available and is a more unique gun as opposed to the run-of-the-mill M4 style.
