Title: Op Terror Shade being moved to Sasco
Post by: Speedy on October 25, 2006, 06:01:08 PM: We are moving this Op to Sasco. Well just buddy up or sort by colors and get to shootin at each other. Post if your down to still shoot some people. Lets just get out there and shoot each other guys.
No story line for this op, sorry. We can make one up at Sasco if you want though.
Start time is at 8:00am
Lets make this Op happen Arizona.

Yeah, but that wouldn't be OP: terror shade... He is the one to decide to move it or not. He started it, it's his OP. What you're talking about isn't an OP, it's a skirmish. And a 100 mile there + 100 mile back drive, isn't worth it.

Posting up game times would be cool. I was planning on bringing +4 or 5 to Terror Shade but most of them do not have trucks or 4wds'.

My barley lifted Bronco had water to the floor boards and the exhaust was under water, ask any one that was there two weeks ago, they know they are the hard chargers that came out for RED ROCK RAMPAGE 1, you guys rule. thanks a ton.

Saturday was our normal practice day so we all decide to practice at sasco this weekend anyway, pay to play sucks, IMHO! that is worth a pile of dog dew to some of you, good. I will there, 5-7 others on our team, you can come or you can read about it next week when your saying to your self man I bored where are all the games, AT SASCO SAT, so terroo shad fell thru, so did the last op scheduled for S.I. no big deal, adapt, overcome, move on already come or don't!?

It is a little over 8 miles west on Red Rock. Drive past the cattle feed lot, onto the dirt road, accross the 2 washes...you'll see an old building first, made of vocanic rock on your right. the smelter is visable on your right about 3/4 miles past there.

From I-10, take exit 226, Red Rock. This exit is about 30 miles north of Tucson and 70+ miles south of Phoenix. Southbound traffic should proceed straight at the exit ramp. This is about the only place you could go possibly wrong. Go west on this straight road (the speed limit is riduculously low). You will pass a cattle ranch and then hit dirt. There are a couple low spots you have to watch out for. Eventually, (after 6 or 7 miles I think) you will see cars parked on the right and the SASCO ruins. You want the ruins with the big hill next to them. Also, I couldn't get cell service at the AO.

When in doubt, go straight.

We can get several rounds in...this will also keep the cheating down since we will have the chance to play several rounds. HEAR THAT YOU DAMN CHEATERS!!??

I would have had to move stuff around in pheonix, come home then go out airsofting, then try to get home in time to make it to homecoming.
So it was going to have to be either this or homecoming, and id rather dance with the ladies.

Had fun playing and meeting new people, great turn out. Hopefuly we can get that many people out playing more often.
