It's been awhile since I've been out to an op and this one was brutal. But I was smiling at the end. (Just not the begining. Damn hill) Thanks to all that out on such a classy event. I was really impressed by the organization and planning that went into everything. How was Sunday's game? I didn't stay for it but that all fine and well, Saturday's tore me up.

Dumb question but didn't see it on the post. Maybe the location is a secret but is the time also? When is this starting? Early I would assume.

Thats a really well done video. I'd love to use it in class but I'am afraid most of it would go right over my kid's heads. I'm a little rusty on my Roman history though. According to the author Rome was destroyed by Democrats and liberals? Mr. Peabody fire up the way back machine please.......

Great game guys. The limited respawn per team really worked well. I don't get out enough to know who you guys stole the idea from but I like it, lol. Was super easy to balance out the teams by assigning more or less spawns even if one team was undermanned. I didn't like though how you kept writing everybody's name down when they got hit. I have no doubt I made it in the top 3 for death count. Hey I don't like standing around twiddling my thumbs. Show me where the action is and I'm like a moth to a flame. :)

The action shot of Giles getting his own trigger time is the best of the lot! Thats hot shit!

Very good sir. Very good.

Saw this today and thought this might be a worthy place to post the news. If it shows enough terrorists getting the business instead of Russkies I'm down. Not sure how Al-Queda could really attempt to invade the US though. Maybe if they cross the enough hitchhike across the border. :)

AEG's / Show me your SCARS! (Recommendations)
« on: July 05, 2008, 09:47:40 AM »
I was looking at picking up a SCAR and didn't see a thread like this through searching. Who makes the best currently on the market? Which ones should I steer clear of? Any issues with you've had with ones you've bought? Are you happy with the gun if you own one? And finally the $$$ question, is there really any difference between owning a SCAR or a M-4? REACT TO ME!

What a crappy place to hold a rave! Its full of glass and cans and spent cartridges. Oh and paint ball covered walls. ALthough I can picture a DJ setting up shop inside there with some laser lights spewing out into the night. Damn, what a cool place to have a rave.

Yeah pretty crazy. I was just there where they crashed the other day. 7th street and Indian school. Of all the things to crash into they were lucky they landed in a park.

Yeah I tried buying it from the Ray store. But since my credit card was new it rejected the big purchase. Sucks cause they had it ready to roll supposedly. Ended up buying it from a store out here in Glendale.

I ended up picking up a Westing house 42 inch 1080p from Best Buy. Got the 3 year warranty and it came to about 1300. I know Westinghouse is no Sony but I have a comp monitor from them and it has worked perfectly. If fit my budget and so far so good. I did check Ultimate just before buying the Westinghouse, they had some good deals but everything was just outta my price range. They also had some display TVs for sale up front at big discounts. But they were older models and had some wear and tear along with a lot of hours on them from being on 24/7. Thanks for everybody's help though. I looked into everything that was mentioned.

PREACHER!!!!!!

Its like 6 graphic novels but you won't find a better comic out there. I can't describe it and do it justice, suffice to say its a western, about religion, vampires, gov conspiracies, sex, violence, shootouts, and hillbillys. And it all makes perfect sense! My favorite book ever. Get the first book at least, you owe yourself that.

Surprised Sten didn't mention DC's Kingdom Come. Its about the future DC universe going to hell in a hand basket. Theres also Marvels which everybody seemed to like but I wasn't much of a fan of.
