Airsoft Campout--Dec 14th and 15th

Do your homework, request work off, and/or get permission from your wife! It’s time to do an Airsoft camp out.

When: December 14th and 15th, 2012

Location: We are going to Oak Flats (Tonto National Forest) which is in Miami between Superior and Globe. It's one hour from Mesa, I made it in 45 minutes without excessive speeding. The road gets a little bumpy and you need a high clearance vehicle, I didn't use my 4 wheel drive and my Isuzu Trooper did just fine. Just take my word for it and use high clearance only!!

Details for camping: Fend for yourself, bring your own food, camping gear, Airsoft gear, and money for gas if you're riding with someone, and DBAD rules apply (Don't Be A Douche). If you pack it in; you pack it out!! If you want to follow any of us up, we are meeting at 4:30pm and leaving at 5pm at the Chevron on the South West Corner of Recker and Brown in Mesa. If you don't want to camp overnight, you are more than welcome to come up in the morning.

Details for Airsofting:
Friday- Two night games starting at 7pm (depending on how long they go). FYI Night games are not for everyone, some people just don't like them!!
Saturday- 9 am after Breakfast, and a break for lunch at 12pm-1pm We will keep playing games throughout the day till about 4pm.

Teams will be divided by random selection.

Gun rules:  Full auto allowed (just dont try to be a douche, no full auto in the back)
Sniper(Semi auto or bolt action only) engagement will be minimum distance of 75ft
Max Fps for assualt rifles=420 w/ .2g
Max Fps for sniper rifles=550 w/ .2g

Extra gear needed:

·        Glow sticks Green/Yellow and Blue/Orange (Night games)

·        Red cloth to show that you are out

I got five, maybe six guys from my group that will be there for sure!!
We will be there for the camping too!!

I've played with these guys before and it is fun.  The night games are a blast.  Glow sticks are used for a sniper vs. assault game, (snipers do not have glow sticks they are hidden)......really fun night games.

Yeah Edward, those games are really fun. We also might also do some attack and defend, and zombie games(when humans die they go to the zombie teams and vise versa).

I also forgot to mention that this campout is free. Every game we host is free.

The campout this weekend was so much fun.  Yes it rained and there was even snow on the ground two miles up the road.  However it was still fun regardless of the rain.  We should do it again during spring break when it's not so wet.  Those who read the post and didn't go really missed out.  I'll be at the next one.
