Girl gear or small male gear.
« on: February 15, 2013, 09:41:15 AM »
D: so I was looking at gear for sale, and I can't find anything that would actually fit me. I even went on a few websites, and still I could find nothing that would actually fit me.  If any one is selling gear that would actually fit a girl, with out being over size please let me know. I am looking for something that is a small/medium in male. I actually heard that even the medium in males might be to big for me.

That would probably work. They sell the same one on Evike but it is $80

Have you checked the surplus stores in the valley, they may well have the smaller sizes as well as some of the Girl sizes...

Whatever you get, get something in a "green" pattern, and also a pair in something "tan"
With these, you can play on whichever side you want.

Last time I was at Allied, they had a bin of small sized BDUs for $2.50 a piece (woodland and chocochip). Great place, great staff.

I'm about 5' 5" and Adult Medium feels abit too large even on me, Take a look at Allied Surplus, They tend to have alot of the smaller sized stuff in stock compared to the Larger more average items.

43rd and Northern, Give em a call, they'll hook you up.
@KillerDragn, you'd be the perfect gymnast at that height ;). Anyway, something that has to be related to the post.... If you're willing to spend the money, I would go with a Crye JPC in small, here's the link http://cryeprecision.com/Item_Detail.aspx?ItemCode=BLC04202LG0&title=Jumpable-Plate-Carrier%u00e2%u201e%u00a2-(jpc)

I recommend getting Male small BDU w/lots of cotton and sending it through the wash a couple times. They'll shrink right up just make sure its a brand that doesn't have issues w/dye coming out after washes (only some digitals and very poor chinese BDUs have this problem). For the pants using a good belt also helps keep it on you. I wear male small and they are just barely small enough for me at 5ft. 7in. w/29in. waist line If you save up some cash and purchase some 'new' BDU's you can get XS Male sizes. Very hard to find in stock though. After reading this I guess I know why now lol.

For vest and such avoid Chinese off brand and go for US brands as I guarantee the smalls will not fit you without modification to the straps (which can be done by any amateur seamstress) unless you're er...well blessed? As my old vest fit my ex-gf just fine but flew all over the place on me.
