It silencer compatible but you need an adaptor which is in the neighborhood of $25 I think...

can you link me the adapter?

The adapters do NOT work. Well goes through the trouble of threading the end of thier outer barrels but makes the diamater the wrong size. so all maruzen compatible adapters will not fit the ASR.

And to be honest, theres not much more to do to them after you get them. A tightbore and thier upgrade kit should be all you need. Mine was shooting 445 when I took it to gearbox last friday. So the upgrade kit would put it right around 500, mabey a little more once I put a tightbore in. And theres really no reason to put a longer barrel in it, the best part about the ASR[besides the price] is its maneuverability.

Guess I shouldn't plan too much before I actually get it.
Okay, I will take your word for it.

I may be going to a TAC game in the next few weeks if you want to handle/shoot one before you buy it.

Gladly, although I've got to finish finals and repair my gun first ^_^
The WELL MB06 is equivalent to the ECHO1 ASR I take it?  Are there any differences?  I assumed so until you said in your post that "Well goes through the trouble of threading it", and so I got confused and, at the moment, think they are the same guns :P
Evike doesn't sell the ASR, and ASGI is out of stock :'(

I saw this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvbgRtbI-NU

This video seems very intriguing to me, as he just used an L96 barrel threading adapter.  Is this gun different from the WELL MB06 / ECHO1 ASR?

As far as I know the WELL and the E1 are the same rifle, E1 throws in 2 extra mags and a bipod I believe. Now im going to have to find out what adapter he used  :? I believe ACM also makes one of these rifles though, so the rifle in the video may be an ACM.

Have you tried this?

EDIT:
Talked to some guys at Evike and some guys at ASGI.
ASGI, of course, 100% downright tells me that they are not the same guns, as the WELL MB06 is made of different materials, and does not come from Echo1 because Echo1 only distributes the gun in the package of bipod + 2 mags.
The guys at EVIKE were a little unsure, and said that the gun might be, but one of the techs said that he believes the ASR is a different gun altogether.

I'm going to spend the extra 20 dollars just to make sure I get the ASR.

Also, I talked to them about that adapter I posted up there**
Will not fit either rifle.

Once I get the ASR i will probably just get the adaptor and see if it can be modified to fit the gun, I plan on getting a shorter barrel all together though

As far as externals go, it takes airsoft stocks and real M4 grips.[/quote]

I wouldn't have guessed about the M4 grips. It's good to know about what upgrades this thing takes--thanks guys. I am thinking of building up a springer and this one is in the running due to the low price and seemingly good rewiews, plus the fact that it isn't what everyone else has out there. Upgrades don't look too expensive online, and it has a unique look with what seem to be some unique functional attributes. I'm looking forward to hearing more.

I love this gun.  It is beautiful in every way.  Even with the upgrade kit, it's still easier to cock than my friend's upgraded bar-10.

I'm going to look for a silencer adapter.  Will keep you all posted

What kind of aftermarket stocks will fit? I read in a review that civilian style will fit while in another review it stated that only Mil-spec will. Also can the buffer tube be replaced by an aeg or real one?

Any airsoft stocks will fit. I am currently using a Magpul MOE stock, and it fits, but very tightly. Also the buffertube is part of the body as far as Ive been able to tell so theres no way to take it off.
