I'm thinkin 1k+.

Good rifle. Just, that Justin seems to have CRAP for luck with airsoft guns. Heh.. he picked up his m1, tried to fire it, and it just.. doesn't fire. I think his guns are haunted. I'm not sure if the rifle is workin right now.

You could buy a real AK for the price of an airsoft AK.

What's your point?

OK, well you can buy 0.24 Classic Army M249 Para's for the cost of an airsoft AK.

Or, you could buy a case of .223 for your AR.

Or, and this is MY personal favorite, you can pick up 1.3875 PROUD Tactical RAV replica's for the cost of an airsoft AK.

In fact, why not make it the new currency?

"How much for the Red 93 Cherokee?"

"10 Marui AKs."

"Deal, but I want that bumpin' 1500 watt system, too!"

I officially killed it.

Back to the topic of Krylon masterpieces.

I saw Ganef's AEG and all I could say was wow.  Does anyone know how he pulled it off and with what blend of colors?

you could always ask me...
I used the ultra flat krylon in Khaki, OD and Brown . I painted the whole gun khaki then faded it into brown spots. I then taped over some of the areas and painted it khaki again then faded it to green then I removed the tape and I made a stencil for the little MC spots in both khaki and brown. Fading is easy to do it just takes a little practice. I want to do another version using the krylon satin green to make the gun more green and closer to MC but that takes getting another gun.

For Ganef about the Satin green
« Reply #29 on: October 18, 2005, 12:16:03 PM »
I was toying around with it(The satin green) and some paint, I found it's pretty glossy.  I didnt think it would be since the lid doesnt have any shine, and the other paints advertised as "glossy" did in fact have shiny lids...But it came out with a horrible "come shoot me in the face" sheen.
If you've used it already and it's worked well, have at it...Or if you know a way to reduce that shine please, let me know.
