Unfortunately, it's extremely difficult to control the velocities of the BB's with a powder driven device like this. Some BB's may just pop out at around 100 to 400 fps, while most will probably zing out around 600 to 800 or more (fps). Of course, this is largely dependent on the size of the actuating charge and the strength of the frangible shell (body). Needless to say, those velocities could put a serious hurt on you or your opponant. I sympathize with you though. A good grenade can really add some excitement to the party.

I've read though, that this grenade is safe to use in play.

I have read that it's by far the safest of the "soft air" grenades to use.  If you actually HIT someone with the grenade itself, it's only made out of cork, so it won't hurt.  Everything in it is biodegradeable as well.

To read more about it, go here:  http://babelfish.altavista.com and use the URL translator with http://www.pensieridileonardo.com/granata/spec_fx.html and translate from ITIALIAN to ENGLISH.

Translated in world Lingo - it says its made of cork and latex and is safe for the game of "soft-air" for the "dull moments in game".  Says effective range is 4M.  I wanna get me some of these!

I'd imagine if you kept some guidelines (ex: no lobbing them where you can't see where it will hit, etc.), these things they would be pretty fun to have in the game.

The entire necessity of a grenade in airsoft is to be able to lob it where you can't see where it will land...  <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Yeah i agree Paco, definitely gotta chuck those puppies... I guess liability might be too much for AA, but maybe now with the new rules system?  in any case, they'd be sweet to have... many a time I woud have given my leg to have a grenade.

NOw, where do we buy them?

Desidero sapere se ci trasmetteranno queste granate, John.

Ok...it was just an Altavista translation, not everyone can be cool like John.

But really, let's see if they'll send us a box or two of these to try out.

They speak English, someone get on this and see if we can pick up a batch.

3 to a pack, so about 10 bucks for a pack of grenades.  They recommend you order 10, so probably 100 bucks.  If 10 people are willing to play ball I think we could get this done.
