I got my SAW today and thought I'd offer some impressions. I have yet to fire it, so that will wait for a later update, but out of the box it's a beast. The heft in considerable. No matter what it actually weighs, it feels like more. Most of the gun is metal and it's built very solidly. Mine is a combiniation of the two TOP offerings. I have the "Mk I" stock (standard tubular) with the "Mk II" US foregrips and folding carry handle. The gun is steady on the bipod and the bipod folds away securely.
The packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Simple cardboard box. Given that the PSG1 comes in a nice case, they could have done more for this thing. I have two different box mags and I'll review those when I handle the performance of the gun.
More to come, but I wanted to give you a taste. In closing, "It is so choice...if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."
